we all walked onto campus “so which home room you in Gerard, mikey and you frank?” tia asked then Gerard, mikey and frank showed her their papers and she said “oh my this is good and bad Gerard, oh and by the way frank, mikey your in the charlottes and Jess’s home room their tutor is nice so if you two are polite she might let you sit next to charlotte and jess but Gerard do you want the good news first or the bad, but FYI the bad well there’s a possibility it will over sway the good anyway you put it” “just get on with it tia” he said “ok you asked for it the good news is your in mine, Amy’s, Tyler’s and Jacob’s home room and I think Amy can guess what the bad news is” I knew exactly what the bad news was, one, there are like 20 odd MCR fans excluding us in there, two Stella was in our home room and three, we had an alright tutor till he went and got food poisoning now we had a evil one who is a stereotypical bigot always putting me in detention for nothing but for being an emo and this is what I told Gerard and by this time Scott had slunk off to his home room on his own and frank, mikey, jess and the charlottes had gone to theirs and the rest of us were about to walk in to ours and when we did Stella’s eye’s lit up when Gerard opened the door a crack then walked in but then when she saw his arm wrapped round my waist her eyes nearly turned black like her mascara stains on her foundation plastered cheeks when I turned to look at the tutor It wasn’t Mr Wyatt the evil tutor but Mr Watson the tutor that got food poisoning 5 days ago I introduced Gerard to Mr Watson and Gerard asked if he could sit by me and the others we were with and being the joyous character he is Mr Watson let him I was so pleased I almost screamed but my neck hurt too much it was throbbing really hard now I was now worried Gerard might have hit a vein but then it started to die down and then it was fine and we all sat down at our table then Mr Watson called the register, time to see if gob smacked to hear that all day today and tomorrow Gerard had the same lectures and lessons as me, at lunch as we all went home Gerard was talking to tia telling her how miss Peabody kept looking at when the lesson finished I ran to the toilets and looked in the mirror it had bruised and had a big red blotchy thing round it and I screamed then I ran out and showed him and him smirked trying not to laugh I nearly hit him for laughing at something he’d done next lesson was cooking with Mr chambers my favourite subject spoiled by me itching my gammy and making it bleed I had to go to the nurses office luckily she was a student nurse that’s had plenty of her own gammys, so she just put a plaster over it and told Gerard that if he was going to do it again then to do it a bit lower because the reason it was so itchy and the reason it hurt in home room was because he had hit a vein but not a vital one then when we got to the bus stop frank and charlotte and the rest of us went our separate ways, charlotte and frank went into Cardiff to get something to eat it was 11:30am Scott being the scholar he is or at least wants to be, had 5 minutes to get back to college poor thing another 3 hours of pure torture, then me ,tia ,Tyler, Jacob, the charlottes and Gerard got on the bus and waved to Scott as he went back to college then when we got back to mine only my brother was home my mum and step dad were working again perfect and I told mum that I had a friend staying for a while and she said fine but if it’s a boy they have to stay in the music room and when I told her ok I had my fingers crossed I was not going to make my ikle gee stay in my music room on his own then when we had put a air bed in the music room for show Gerard and I went to his house to pick up some of his inconspicuous clothes and also some of his own sweat pants when I saw he had the same nightmare before Christmas ones I had I giggled and he even had the tee shirt as well same as me then when we got back to my house my brother was in the living room drawing with MY EYELINER, “ARRRGGHHH, GERARD WHAT ARE YOU DOING YOU LITTLE MONSTER” and he said it as if he was using any old common house pencil “drawing” “I can see that but not with this you don’t you little scab” I said as I snatched it off him and said “use this instead” and gave him a crayon and he shrugged and carried on drawing then I nearly screamed though I was lucky that “Amy, why do have a plaster on your neck?” no wait he noticed, so I lied and said “I tripped and I was carrying a box of … erm…” then before I could finish Gee ambulance and when I woke up I was in hospital and Gerard was by my side and said “oh god your awake thank god I thought I was going to lose you, I should never have done what that evil, sadistic girl Gerard in confusion but then said “ok you vitals look good so I think that your safe to go miss Gardiner” I just nodded then the doctor said jokily “ don’t do that so close to a vital blood vein next time ok sonny otherwise she’ll be in here every other week” then chuckled and sent us on our way when we got home my mum was home and all gee had told her was that I’d tripped over his roller blades and landed on a sharp pencil it sounded like something out of a horror film but It worked then the night went as normal as any night at home dinner, watch a movie on telly everyone huddled in couples apart from me till now then all the couples went to bed together apart from me till now which I was happy about this time he held me to him as I slept so my neck wouldn’t hurt.
Then another morning and my mum called college and told them I couldn’t go in then Gerard asked her to do one for him as well because apparently he was coming down with a cold but it was just so he could stay with me and my mum knew that but she did it anyway then when college finished for my friends they came over to see us and my mum showed them up to my room she knocked and told me that “tia, tyler, Jacob, the charlottes, Scott and frank are here” and I told her to let them in and then they saw my neck and frank said “god, gee take it a step to far with the whole gammy thing did we?” when my mum had left, We all just giggled at his weird remark.
The next day I was back in college and Gerard even though he wasn’t supposed to be in them was in all my lessons looking after me by dean’s request and who was I to disagree then when I went the toilets Gerard waited outside for me and inside was Stella and she knew Gerard would be waiting outside so she waited until I was about to leave and ran out and grabbed Gerard and kissed him with tongues and I didn’t know who to believe so ran out of the college crying and I was lucky I’d driven today because it was a easy way to get out of here and I went straight home raided my savings and bought a ticket to Italy, and I left a note for gerard to read when he got back, when I wrote it a teardrop fell on to the paper and it left a little water mark showing how much he’d hurt me, then I left taking only what I needed luckily my sister had just moved to Italy with john and they said to me before they left “come and see us if you need to get away from here for any reason, ok” then left like I was leaving now my anger pushed me forward and my sadness ate away at me then I was on my way to Italy.
