Wow, this is really painful. In a good way! The only part that made me blink was the end. I'm not sure that I could see Yuna taking his life with her own hands like that, even if he was going to die. Lulu I could see doing that, though I have to stretch to see Yuna doing it. Maybe in light of how she learned to fight in FFX-2, I could see it, but Yuna from FFX was just...a lot gentler and a lot more scared in some ways, in my mind, at least. :shrugs: I don't think that it ruins the characterization at all, just that I found it different from how I viewed her.
Your ambiance and the visceral details of the soldier's wounds sets up a very raw and powerful picture. Great job. :)Over the Water

Wow. Just...wow. I love this story. Very, very well written and quite different from the usual fiction. There's really nothing I can say in terms of contstructive criticism but I would like to say that I did not view 'the final crack' as Yuna breaking his neck or any such thing; rather I viewed it as the last tether the soul had to the body breaking away. Beautiful fiction; I hope you keep writing for FFX.Over the Water

This is a very sad and beautiful piece. I really like this look into Yuna's thoughts and feelings during such a tragic event. Thank you.Over the Water

I like the way the healing spell was explained and used.
I think a death like this is a really powerful and haunting (in a good) way to show how Yuna's faith in Yevon was shaken a little bit at a time--and yet at the same time her resolve to defeat Sin was strengthened. Beautiful fic.Over the Water

This is gorgeous. Everything about this - your lovely descriptions, the way you make Yuna so... Yuna, and the very feel of this beautiful little story you weave.
