Those Little Words

I see you, sitting in the back of the class,
You see me, wishing time would pass.
I see you, through the corner of my eye,
You see me, waiting for the hour to go by.

Do you see me, getting oh so anxious?
‘Cause when you smile, you make me breathless.
I see you, watching the clock,
Waiting patiently, for us to talk.

For when you said those words, last time we talked,
You were so afraid, that we would get beaten and mocked.
Those words you whispered, perfectly into my ear,
I shall repay with mine, because I love you, dear.
