When a person dies, their soul is devoured either by a demon or an angel depending upon their lives and actions as a human. For each soul consumed by a demon, the fires of hell burn brighter, closing in on those living upon earth. Where as souls consumed by an angel opens wider the golden gates of heaven.
Once either the fires of hell tastes the flesh of earth, or the gates of heaven upon completely, soldiers of Lucifer or the Almighty himself will set foot on earth in order to do his bidding.
And then the Apocalypse shall begin...
