"We're Not Afraid To Keep On Living."
5 reviews(Sequel to "We're Not Okay.") The guys' story continues during the Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge era.

*Authors Note: I'd lie to you and tell you the reason for the long wait is because I've been working on a sequel that will blow your f*ing mind, but like I said, I'd be lying. Just typed this today, in fact ;)
*ALSO IMPORTANT: I'm not sure how much I'm gonna use this narrating thing (you'll understand in a sec), I may use it a lot, I may not use it very much at all. It depends on- wait for it- FEEDBACK. ;) And, I've been telling this story from only Gerard and Mikey's point of view. Do you think I should include some points from Ray's, Frank's, and Bob's POV? If so, PLEASE TELL ME.

(Narrator's (Me) Point of View)
Once upon a time begins so many stories, but not enough sequels... Oh, the words of Gerard,
fuck it.
Once upon a time, there were five... outcasts, if you will, who grew up to be apart of one of
the greatest bands to ever walk this earth. But if you asked anyone who knew them back in high
school, they would say they had no idea what would become of them.
The story started with 17 year old Gerard and 15 year old Mikey Way of Belleville, New Jersey.
Mikey was the cliche youngest-child, who received impressive grades and had a slightly strange
obsession with unicorns. Gerard, being the oldest, was naturally protective of anyone younger
than him who was a friend.
When new kids Ray Toro, Bob Bryar, and Frank Iero switch schools from another to Belleville
High School with Gerard and Frank, the five had a sort of... connection. They didn't know what
it was then, they just assume they were meant to be friends. They didn't know the challenges,
or more important the triumphs, they'd face merely a few years later.
Ray, Bob, and Gerard, said their farewells to highschool, the jocks, the insecure annorexic
cheerleaders, and the crackhead, with a smile on their lips the whole time. Although the sadest
part was seperating these life-long friends, they quickly became absorbed in college life.
Mikey and Frank were seperated as well. Believing young Mr. Iero could be doing better in
school, his parents transferred him to a Catholic High School, where Frank spent the last three
years of his high school experience miserably. He was an hour's drive away from Mikey, Gerard,
and Ray, whom after graduation he had hardly any time to see the elders anyways.
While, Bob, Ray, and Gerard focused on life on their own (for the most part, anyways) Frank and
Mikey both managed to graduate high school with flying colors. Gerard graduated from an art
school in New York, Ray from some local college, and due to issues, Bob never finished his
degree.
After the events of 9/11, Gerard left his internship at a local cartooning newtork, and wanting
to make something of his life involving his experiences and child-hood dreams, called up a
buddy of his, Matt, and Ray, to form what would become one of the most thrilling, enchanting,
and entertaining musical acts in history.
Later, after Gerard asked Mikey to join the band, the band was named My Chemical Romance, a
name Mikey had came up with after a dream he'd had, though the younger Way didn't share too
many details, he was fully aware the man in his dream that was on the stage talking to the
crowd was none other than his older brother and best friend.
Frank had attempted many bands, before the 4 asked him to join My Chemical Romance, whom he was
quite fond of. After accepting the offer, Frank became happy for the first time since his
Freshman year at Belleville High.
2 years went by, and Matt had left the band, leaving MVR fresh and ready to tour with their new
album, without a drummer. And in the midst of it all, Frank went through a rough break up with
his long-term girlfriend, and Gerard was stuggling with a severe drinking and depression
problem.
Now the story continues right after Matt has left the band, and the making for the video I'm
Not Okay is underway.

(Mikey's Point of View)
The guys came to pick us up bright and early on a Saturday morning. I answered the door in my
pajama pants and old t-shirt, and was shocked to not only see Frank but a mini camera crew on
the porch. I invited them inside for coffee, and after ten miniutes I gave them permission to
go wake up Gerard in the basement while I made more coffee.
Gerard was fighting a hangover, but managed to give everyone a miny-tour of the house.
"What the hell is this?" Frank asked incredulously, picking up a bat in a frosen glass block.
"My Grandfather's paperweight," Gerard replied laughing. He headed over to the counter to pour
himself a mug's worth of coffee.

I know it's probably not that goo,d but I'm trying to get back into the swing of things. I promise it'll get bettter :)
