Lalala, sitting here in first period extremely bored.
Nothing good in my life.
Expect music.
Metal, punk, rock,
Anything but the shit they call pop.
I slip my ipod out of my pocket and discreetly pop the earbuds in my ears.
Tuning out all the jocks and preppy girls and their stares and laughs.
I grab my sketchbook and pencil and doodle.
The door to the classroom opens.
In walks an insanely cute guy.
He goes to the teacher.
"Hey...I'm uh... Gerard."
"Okay Gerard, why dont you introduce yourself to the class."
Everyone falls silent.
I quickly take my earbuds out of my ear.
He looks at all of us, his eyes scanning the room.
His eyes meet mine and he smiles.
Of course I sit here blushing like a crazy person.
"Um hi, I'm Gerard and i just moved here from florida. I really like music and drawing."
I hear the preps laugh and I just want to knock them on their asses.
Then I hear the teacher say,
"Alright Gerard, go find a seat."
He scans the class again.
His eyes meet mine again.
I'm blushing like a crazy person...again.
He walks towards me.
"Hey, is it okay if i sit next to you?"
Of course, I'm humanely incapable of speaking.
I gather up enough courage to squeak out a yes.
He sits.
"So um... what's your name?"
I blush again.
I cant speak.
I have some problems.
I just tell myself to talk.
"Me? I'm Casey."
He smiles.
That smile.
Holy crap, I'm in love.
"So what classes are you in? If we had the same ones I was thinking maybe I could stalk you all day? Just kidding."
He laughs.
Ohhhh my gosh. That is most likely the cutest laugh I've ever heard.
"Um, I have English, P.E., but i usually skip P.E., French, Lunch, then Social Studies."
"Really? Me too, except for French."
Is this coincidence? Or fate?
"So, do you wanna maybe hang out after school? You seem really nice."
I almost fainted right there.
"Sure, I'd love to."
