Later on in the afternoon Gerard found Belle sitting in a tree looking out to the sun which was slowly setting behind the distant mountains.Gerard let out a sigh before climbing up
the tree after her and taking a seat beside her.They sat in awkward silence before finally Gerard worked up the courage to finally speak to her about what had happened earlier.
"Belle,i'm really sorry about what I said earlier"He finally said still looking away from her.
"Why did you say that to me,you never apolagize"She said gently moving her eyes to rest on the floor.
"I always apolagize"He said looking hurt
"No you don't we always have to apolagize to you"She said sounding a little heated
"Oh shut up you don't know what your talking about"Gerard snapped
He saw her shocked face and sighed .
"Whats wrong with you lately Gee,you seem so distant all the time you always avoid me lately I thought we were best friend"She said gently
"Its nothing"He mumbled
"Yes it is ,theres something up tell me whats wrong Gee you can trust me"She smiled reaching her hand and holding his shoulder in a comforting manner
Gerard slapped her hand away and stared at her angrily.
"GEE WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU"She asked holding her stinging hand
"WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO DO,WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO SEDUCE ME,DO YOU REALLY HATE LYNZ THAT MUCH"Gerard shouted
"Gee im not trying to seduce you im just trying to be a good friend"She said looking shocked
"OH YER REALLY CAUSE WHAT I THINK IS YOU CAN'T STAND MY ATTENTION GOING TO LYNZ INSTEAD OF YOU SO YOUR TRYING TO GET INTO MY PANTS
TO PISS LYNZ OFF SO SHE'LL LEAVE"Gerard shouted angrily
Belle stared in shock the whole time Gerard shouted her,why would she try to seduce Gerard when she had a perfectly good partner.
"Gerard I don't want to seduce you,I have nothing against Lynz im on great terms with her,I love Hayley not you"She said
"OH YER CAUSE I BELIEVE THAT,YOU KNOW WHAT IM SICK OF YOU,GET OUT"he screamed
"Excuse me"She asked quitely
"YOU HEARD ME,I DON'T WANT YOU HERE,PACK YOUR STUFF AND LEAVE"he shouted
"Well if thats what you want"She said sadly.
Belle dropped from the tree and slowly walked to her caravan and starting packing her stuff when hayley came in everyone knew what had happened and they all knew that gerard was
very wrong in his assumptions.Hayley said she would go With Belle and so they both packed up their things and went to leave but they found a large crowd of people outside waiting for
them,gerard was not among them.
Belle couldn't believe this,Gerard had been her best friend for so many years more then a century and he was so easily casting her out on some stupid made up assumption how could
he do that?
As Hayley predicted everyone was there trying to convince them not to leave but Belle politely pointed out that Gerard was the ringleader of the Venin circus and he had the right to dismiss
people.
As they reached the exit she turned round to say goodbye to everyone.
"Be safe and write to me every chance you get"Maverick said gently tears sliding down his scaly skin.
"I will,take good care of Amy for me"She said gently pulling Maverick into a hug,she was going to miss him.
Once they let go her and Hayley turned to leave but Lynz grabbed her arm and turned around.
"Don't go"Lynz begged
"I have to,Gerard was very clear when he told me he wanted me gone"She mumered
"Why would he even think those things"Lynz said shaking her head
"I don't know but he does"Belle said gently
"I'm going to miss you"Lynz said
"I'll miss you to,do me a favour,give this to Bandit when she gets back"Belle said handing lynz and small braided bracelet.
"Shes going to be heartbroken when she realises your gone"Lynz said sadly
"I know,im just as sad as she will be,im gonna miss my goddaughter"Belle sighed
"Be careful"Lynz said gently
Both hayley and belle nodded before bidding a final farewell and turning away from their lives and disappeared into the woods.

"Your an idiot do you know that"Lynz hissed slapping Gerard round the face
"OW what the fuck was that for"Gerard asked rubbing his cheek
"Why an earth did you kick Annabella out of the circus everyone is heartbroken,and their heartbreak is nothing compared to what Bandit is going to react like when she finds out"Lynz said
"What are you talking about,I only said those things out of anger she wont leave"he said laying back in his chair
"Shes already gone you idiot and Hayley went with her"Lynz said
"WHAT?"Gerard shouted
"Thats right everyone heard you shout at her and now her and hayley are gone i hope your happy"Lynz said sadly and with that she left.
Why did he say that to belle?Was it true that her and hayley were gone?
Gerard jumped up and ran to hayley and Belle's caravan he ripped the door open and let out a sob when he saw that everything was gone,how could he have pushed his best friend away like
that.
Gerard headed to the one place he went whenever he was sad,his brother.
On the way everyone gave him sad looks or angry glares that he shrank away from.
How could he have been so stupid?
