INT. ROXAS’S HOUSE (BEDROOM) – AFTERNOON EARLY- SCENE 1
SOUNDS OF BIRDS AND PEOPLE
Kairi slowly enters the room and throws a pillow on Roxas
KAIRI
Wake up lazy bum!
Come on Roxas lets go, let’s go on an adventure!
ROXAS
Kairi, what are you doing in my room?
KAIRI
I'm here because we are going to Destiny Islands today silly!
Kairi smilies
ROXAS
Ok I’m coming hang on
Kairi walks to Roxas’s closet and she starts to throw Roxas’s clothes across the room
KAIRI
I will meet you outside
20 minutes later*]
Kairi begins to tap her feet and crosses her arms
[*KAIRI
Talking to herself (20 minutes really? I am going to be a grandma by the end of this; he takes his time like girl)
Then Roxas comes out the door all happy and proud with himself.

ROXAS
Hey I’m ready; I couldn’t pick which top I wanted to get, the pink one or the white one.
Kairi just stares at Roxas in a weird sort of way, slightly confused by that act.
KAIRI
(Whispers) How are you not gay?
Well anyway let’s go

SCENE 2- DESTINY ISLANDS
Kairi and Roxas walk to Destiny Islands now the sand is shown and the sea.
SOUNDS OF THE BEACH AND BIRDS
Suddenly Axel comes with his brown eyes and huge red spiky hair
AXEL
Hey, aren't you guys forgetting about me?
KAIRI
Sorry, Roxas was taking his time
AXEL
Not again, with tops I bet. Yer I am always right
ROXAS
Gimme a break guys, it’s hard picking between white and pink
AXEL
He is so gay!
KAIRI
Well anyway. Let’s sit down
Kairi, Roxas and Axel all sat down on the sand


SCENE 3-DESTINY ISLANDS- SAND AREA
ROXAS
Hey Kairi, what was your hometown like? You know where you grew up
KAIRI
Roxas I have told you, I don’t remember
ROXAS
So, nothing at all?
KAIRI
Nothing
Kairi looked out into the sea
ROXAS
So do you ever want to go back?
Roxas focused his attention on her
KAIRI
Well Roxas I’m happy here, Destiny Islands is my home
AXEL
Come on Roxas stop asking dude
ROXAS
I’m sorry but if it was me, I would want to know where I grew up. It’s like this Island; there must be some secrets here.
A bird walked behind Roxas, touched his back then made a sound. Roxas screamed like a little girl. He started jumping around.
AXEL
Haha I knew you were a girl deep down
ROXAS
Hey don’t touch me, you bird, cause I am close to the edge
AXEL
Yes you are trying not to lose your head. Sit

KAIRI
Kairi looked at the boys.
Calm down it’s a bird. First of all it’s now “Closer to the Edge” get it right. And Guys, seriously we should come back next Saturday
ROXAS
Next Saturday? You know what! I’m not a girl, just sometimes I have these emotions that come out. And then I have to go buy something.
AXEL
Yes dude you are a girl, Kairi and let’s not talk about your future husband
KAIRI
Come on, those baby blues and that awesome blonde hair an-
AXEL
Ok then, Roxas has something to say
ROXAS
Oh I can’t you know what, next week isn’t good I got the Jonas brothers and the backstreet boys they are in town, But any week after that, It’s totally fine
Axel scratches his head and rolls his eyes.
AXEL
I rest my point
--Awkward silence—
SOUNDS OF WAVES AND SEAGULLS
Axel starts whistling
KAIRI
Ok so I think I better go home now
Kairi notices an end of a key and she picks it up. Axel sees it and he looks a bit scared. He walks up and takes the key, and he puts it in his jumper
KAIRI
Hey what was that?
AXEL
It’s nothing you better go.
Kairi looked at Roxas just fixing his hair and she leaves alone. Axel passed a paopu fruit to Roxas. It’s a yellow, star fruit.
ROXAS
A paopu fruit....
AXEL
Yer what does it look like Sherlock Holmes, yes it is, you wanted one didn’t you?
ROXAS
ROXAS THINKS FOR A MOMENT BEFORE ANSWERING
I guess yes
AXEL
So if you two like I dunno share one, your destinies become intertwined. You will remain a part of each other’s life no matter what. Blah blah, C’mon, I know you and you wanna try it. Got it memorized?
ROXAS
What are you o-
AXEL
Admit it you lovveeee Kairi?
Roxas blushes and looks away but Axel stands in his view.
Axel I don't like her..... Roxas said.
AXEL looks at Roxas
AXEL
I've known your feeling for her since the start.
ROXAS
WELL.... I CANNOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT!.
Axel starts laughing and throws it away and ran to go back home.
AXEL
Well I’m off lover boy

SCENE 4-DESTINY ISLANDS – MORNING
KAIRI
Ok so the rules are as normal, whoever makes it from the tree house to the bridge wins.

AXEL
And whoever wins gets to share a paopu fruit with Kairi oh yerrrr
ROXAS
What? Hey that isn’t fair
AXEL
Come on, it is and you know it
KAIRI
On your marks, get set GO!
Axel and Roxas crossed from the tree house to the bridge in no time but Roxas was the one who finished first. He may have tripped over some rocks in that time, but he still was first.
AXEL
Looks like you win, you cheat haha
Axel threw the paopu fruit to Roxas
ROXAS
Uh thanks
It was suddenly getting cold.
Roxas ran to where Kairi was before
ROXAS
KAIRI where are you? KAIRI?
AXEL
What is going on?
ROXAS
Kairi isn’t here, she is gone
Roxas ran around the island searching for Kairi but she was nowhere
AXEL
Wait, have you checked the YOUR secret place?
ROXAS did not stay a word, he just ran
SCENE 5- SECRET CAVE- DARK/RAINING
SOUNDS OF ROCKS FALLING, WATER DRIPPING AND BATS FLYING
Roxas ran to the secret place ( the cave in KH 1), he grabbed the paopu fruit and ran. It’s near the waterfall in a small dark cave. When Roxas left, Axel got the key from his jumper.
ROXAS
Kairi are you here?
Kairi turns to Roxas, she was looking sad and a little ill, it looked like she was crying.
KAIRI
Roxas!
ROXAS
Kairi what is going on?
KAIRI
I can’t stay now but Roxas it’s time, the door has opened
ROXAS
What?
KAIRI
The door has opened, now you can leave.
Kairi started crying
ROXAS
No Kairi!
Roxas got the paopu fruit and showed it to Kairi
ROXAS
I want you to have it
KAIRI
Roxas no one will remember me
ROXAS
Kairi I will, you are my friend. No you are more then my friend... I love you Kairi. I have since the first day we met eyes.
KAIRI
Roxas no.... I can't... we can't this time I'll protect you.
Axel appeared from the cave door he was wearing a black coat that was longer than him, you couldn’t see his red hair because of the hood. Then Axel had a sort of a sword which looked like a key in his hand. He walked closer then he tripped on a rock. He went back to the door. He put it up and aimed it to the dark black door. Light came out the key and the door opened.
ROXAS
Axel what are you wearing? What is going on?
Axel looked at Roxas then a huge gust of wind sweeps through the door in the back of the cave and Kairi flies towards him. Roxas opens his arms to catch her, but she vanishes into the door with Axel and it closes. Before the door closed Axel said
AXEL
The door to Kingdom Hearts is now open your heart is weak and the Organization will take it one day. No I’m not saying I’m sorry, Roxas one day we will meet again.
Black smoke appeared everywhere and Axel and Kairi were gone. Roxas was all by himself in the dark cave.
ROXAS
AXEL? KAIRI? WHERE ARE YOU? No Axel my heart belongs to me,and to kairi. I will not give it up. I will find you. No matter what.
