A/N: Okay so this is my first fanfic. Don't be too harsh on me, please? Enjoy :D
Hey, my name is Emily and I'm your awerage 14 year-old teen who is labeled 'emo' at school. Well, actually I'm gonna be 15 in 6 days. My birthday is on september 10th and now I absolutely love that date more than ever. "Why?" you wonder? Well, it just so happens that the bassist of my favourite band is born on the same exact(sp?) day. My favourite band is My Chemical Romance . They are the very 4 people that inspire me, and even though I'd like to say that they saved my life, I can't. But they made it a whole lot nicer. They taght me to be fearless and to be proud of what I am and never to give up on myself. I'm listening to their CD right now.
"Ems! Ems! Mommy wants you to come down for a sec!" That was my little hyper sister Ally barging into my room.
"Okay, tell her I'll be right down."
"Okies!" she stormed out of my room
I paused the CD player and went downstairs.
"Mom! Ally said you called!" I yelled not knowing where she is
Her head popped out of the kitchen
"Honey, we have new neighbours next door,let's go say hello."
"Mom, I can't go like this!" i said motioning to my baggy sweatpants and a crayon stained MCR shirt (I tried to teach Ally to draw today...it didn't go well) hoping for a way out
"Well okay, Ally and I will go you'll say hello on another day"
"Shure..." I went back up to my room
After what seemed like an hour Ally barged into my room again
"Mommy's calling!"
"Okay, how was meeting the neighbours?"
"'twas GREAT! I met a girl, she's called...she's called...something that starts with a B...I forgot her name"
"Nice..."
"OO! OO! and her dad looked like that guy!" she said pointing to my Gerard way poster
"Yeah...Ally I think you had too much soda, you're starting to see things"
"Emily!!" our conversation was cut of by my mom calling me
"Comin'!"
"What?" I asked once I was downstairs
"Hey, I know it's kind of on short notice but do you have any plans tomorrow?
"No, why?"
"The neigbours have a kind around Allys age so would you mind babysitting tomorrow?"
"I guess not, what time?"
"'Round noon, you're such a sweety, you know both of her parents are in some kind of music bussines.."
"Okay..."
"So I'll pick her up and bring her here at noon, and her dad will pick her up at around...7 o'clock"
"Ems!" Ally called from upstairs
"Comin'"
"It's sleepy time. Sing for me pwease?" She aked with those puppydog eyes and threw in a big yawn
"Okay...When I was a young boy
My father took me into the city
To see a marching band
He said, "Son, when you grow up
Would you be the savior of the broken
The beaten and the damned?
He said, "Will you defeat them
Your demons and all the non-believers

By then she was asleep. I kissed her forehead and left the room. I got ready for bed considering I'd have to be up earlier than usual, holydays were coming to an and and at monday I'd have to go to school, so I might aswell start preparing my body for the shock of waking up early in the morning.
