As much as Skyler hated leaving his job for breaks, at this moment, he excused it. Fresh air and a cup of tea was much needed after walking into the house.

The scene, while cleaned up for the most part, was still stained with blood, and still smelled of dead bodies and blood. If that wasn't enough to make him gag, the image of the girls guts had found their way back into his mind. It was disgusting.

He told Robert that he'd be back soon, that he was going to go out to the cafe to get some tea. Robert volunteered to stay back. Robert always was one who wanted nothing more than to please others, no matter how bad things he had to go through were.

Skyler almost felt bad though, now holding his steaming cup of tea as he searched for a seat in the over crowded cafe. Robert probably couldn't handle such a scene, Skyler was used to gore and it upset him, he could only imagine how Robert must have felt.

Skyler sighed as he walked forward anyway. It did no help for him to think of the matter, he just needed some tea and he'd be right back.

There was only really one table open that didn't have some sort of teenage girl. Not that teenage girls were a bad thing... But yeah, they were a bad thing. Anyway, that table was in the far back by the window with a single person sitting at it. The person, a male, was sort of short. He was very thin too, and had jet black hair accompanied with green eye. He wore a black leather jacket and black skinny jeans, all in all, he did look some what odd. Not that Skyler could talk, he had to wear black suits all the time and keep his brown hair short.

Skyler continued forward, "Is this seat taken?" He politely asked the boy sitting there.

The boy looked up from his coffee and silently shook his head 'No'. The detective stood there a moment longer, puzzled by his silence, but decided to sit across from the kid.

The two were silent for a while, both men drinking their drinks and focusing their attention elsewhere. That is, until Skyler decided to make small talk.

"Have you heard anything about that killer their talking about of the news?" He asked casually.

"No, not much. Why do you ask?"

The detective hesitated, before deciding it wouldn't hurt to tell him. "I'm a detective on the case," He began, taking out his ID and showing the other, who in turn hid a smile. "We're kind of stuck on connecting his murders."

"Oh? Maybe they aren't connected, Mr. Ryan. You know how killers can be, mysterious and all." He said, taking a drink of his coffee.

"Yeah, well, if we can find a connection then maybe we can save a few future victims, you know?" Skyler said, "By the way, just call me Skyler."

"Right, my name is Vyncent." The killer said with a smile.

Skyler and Vyncent talked more, discussing the detectives theories on the killer. Vyncent just smiled, and listened politely, every now and then interjecting with some of his own thoughts on the matter. This would be helpful for the killer.

"So I" The detective was interrupted by the sound of his cellphone ringing. He almost didn't want to answer it, but he knew better than that, so he excused himself, stepped away, and answered. When he returned he told Vyncent that he had to go, and gave him his business card in case he heard anything about the killings.
