Chapter 1
Al's POV
It was freezing. I needed to find Roy, he would know what to do, right? I mean; he's not colonel for nothing, and I'm not sure how much longer Ed will last, especially with Scar hunting us down,
"Come on Ed...Hold on for just a little longer, I'll find colonel, I promise," all I got in response was a muffled grunt,
...we were at the library at some rundown mining town -we were kicked out of a house by most of the miners because Ed's a state alchemist- and he found what we were looking for; a book on the philosophers stone, so we started reading through it. We were about halfway done when Scar burst through the door,
"I'LL GET YOU PIPSQUEAK!" at that, Ed kind of flipped out; threw a pair of scissors at Scar, I have to say, I have yet to see that one...
We burst out of the woods and I just about smashed into a brick wall, I ran around what I found was a house. Inside I could see a large dog chasing a screaming little girl around a kitchen and her dad cooking something. I ran to the front door and frantically started pounding on the wooden frame, by now, I could hear Scar running through the snow-blanketed forest, yelling curses and my brother and I,
"Don't worry Brother, were safe now." The man walked to the door, surely wondering who was trying to break his door down,
"Yes?" I could see the confusion in his face,
"Th-there's a man chasing us, please, let us in" there was a sense of urgency in my voice that I made loud and clear, the man looked at us, then at Scar, who was running toward the house,
"Get in." I ran inside, Ed still in my arms, and shut the door just before Scar ran inside, I heard his body ram into the door obviously trying to get in, but after a few failed attempts, we heard him leave,
"I'm Tucker by the way, first name Shou," I quickly lay Ed down on the couch and put a blanket on his black and blue body,
"I'm Alphonse Elric, and this," I motioned to my older brother, "is Edward Elric" the man took one look at Ed and then left, a few minutes later he arrived with a heating pad and hot chocolate,Shou put the heating pad on Ed, and gave me the hot chocolate to hold, he gestured to the dog,
"This, is Alexander" as he pulled the little girl onto his lap he said, "and this is my daughter, Nina" Nina had waist-long milk-chocolate colored hair that was in pigtail braids at her sides, and had bright green eyes full of innocence and pure bliss, she had olive skin and was skinny, but not skin-and-bones,
"Nina? This is Edward and Alphonse, they'll be staying here for a little bit, okay?" at this, Nina's face lit up as he said that,
"FRIENDS!"
Ed began to stir as she started squealing,
"Hmph, whe-where am I" he looked completely and utterly confused,
"Brother!" I hugged him a bit too hard, I introduced him to Shou, Alexander, and, Nina. I also caught him up to speed on what had happened when he was out,
"WHOA!" Nina had run over to Ed and jumped on him, she then proceeded to pull his braid,
"NOT COOL!" Nina whimpered and almost instantly I saw the regret in Ed's face as he started apologizing to her,
"So Mr. Tucker it is?" Ed said from beside me, "what do you do?"
"Oh me, I'm a sewing-life alchemist" Ed was ecstatic at this,
"Your an alchemist! So that means you can help us!!!" Shou had a look on wonder on his face,
"See, I have an auto-mail arm and leg, and my brother, Al, is just a soul in a huge set of armor, so, were going to find the philosophers stone, and I'm going to get Al's body back for him"
"Wow, you must be a patient kid," Ed was about to make a smart-alack comment when I joined the conversation
"Oh, he's anything but!" I exclaimed, Ed shot me a glare and I regretted opening my mouth in the first place, after a few moments of silence, Shou finally spoke again,
"Well, you boys must be tired, there's a guest room upstairs with two beds and a closet, make yourselves at home." he gave us a smile as he picked Nina up to put her in her bed; she had fallen asleep using Alexander as a pillow,
"ugh" Ed obviously didn't want to move, I sighed and picked Ed up, when we got to the guest room, I lye Ed on the bed by the window and lay'ed down on the other bed. Ed took out his braid and began brushing through his hair with his fingers,
"This feels just like home..." I was worried what Ed's response would be, I wasn't sure I wanted to,
"Well, then you'd better enjoy it while you can, because you know as well as I do, we can't get used to this." Ed quickly stated,
"B-but we'll be here for a little bit" I felt like I was trying to make a point, I just had no idea what it was yet,
"ALPHONSE!" Ed snapped at me, I winced; he never snaps at me, something was wrong.
I turned my back to him and fell asleep, not saying another word as he tried to apologize.

"AHA! YOU CANT GET ME DOG!" Ed was playing tag with Alexander, more like Alexander chases Ed while he yells taunts to the dog, oh Ed...
Meanwhile, Nina and I were making snow-angels in the front yard and Shou worked; he needed to come up with something amazing by tomorrow or he would lose everything,
"Al! I'm going to the military H.Q. library, it's safe there, and I might find something important or useful,
"Ok, I'll come too, just in case" I brought Nina and Alexander inside and met Ed in the front of the large house,
"Let's not forget who's the older brother here," We walked the rest of the way in silence.
The military library is HUGE! I couldn't believe it, Ed and I went to the 'P' section, looking for 'PHILOSOPHER' we were able to find 2 books which we quickly read through, after about 3 and a half hours of searching, we left, empty handed.
When we got to the house, we couldn't find Nina or Alexander, I checked upstairs while Ed went to the basement where Shou worked. I walked up stairs and entered Nina's room; it was empty, so was all the other rooms, I hadn't checked Ed and my room but before I could, I heard Ed scream downstairs, I ran down and saw Ed punching and cursing at Shou,
"BROTHER!" I grabbed Ed's hand and pulled him back, Ed was crying, and screaming at Shou,
"THE BASTARD TURNED HIS OWN DAUGHTER AND DOG INTO THAT-THAT-THAT...THING!" he pointed at a chimera in a cage in the corner of the room, I lost all feeling at the sight of that thing, it had Nina's hair,and a mix between Alexander and a lion for a body the face had Nina's eyes, but the other features were just wrong ,
"It's not the first time; my wife had the same fate" he was smiling. How was he smiling?
Ed ran upstairs and I followed, he called Colonel Mustang and we waited for him to arrive, when Roy finally got here, he greeted us agitated,
"Hey Shorty, Hi Al, why'd you guys call me with an S.O.S.?"
"Theres a sewing-life alchemist inside they turned his wife, daughter, and dog into chimeras." Ed barely separated his words and was trying not to cry in-front of Roy. I couldn't find out why.
Riza and I went inside to investigate more, but Roy stayed outside with Ed, Hmmm...
Ed's POV
When Riza and Al were inside, Roy sat down next to me and put his arm around me, he looked at me concerned,
"You okay, kid?" I just looked down and sniffled, Roy pulled me into a hug, I looked up at him startled, he looked back at me and I immediately pushed into his chest, crying. I missed him, I really did, he didn't know it, but I missed him; his joking manner, his mocking smile, the way his voice sounded... But I couldn't tell him that, if I did, I might lose the friendship we have, I just, I just wish this could last forever,
I buried myself farther into his military uniform, he tilted my head up and stared into my eyes,
"Your not okay." I just nodded and stared at him, studying his facial features, his obsidian eyes, his pale skin, his small pink lips that I longingly wanted to press against mine, his thin eyebrows... He seemed to notice that I was staring at his face because he smirked at me,
"Like what you see" right as he said that, I could hear Alphonse and Riza walking to the door, I went to get up, but Roy pulled me back and whispered seductively into my ear,"We'll finish this, Full metal" I shivered as he let me go.
I walked over to a wall and leaned against it, waiting for Al and Riza, they walked outside, stunned expressions plastered on there faces,
"They were both.." Al began, "..dead.." I looked at him dumbfounded,
"What?" I couldn't believe it,
"Someone killed both the chimera and Shou, using alchemy" from behind me I heard Roy mutter something in response to what Riza had just said,
"Scar." I cocked my head back at him when he said that,
"The one who was after me and Al?" Roy's head snapped up to look at me,
"He was after you two" it wasn't a question, nor, was it a statement,
"You two are gonna come to Central and stay there with Riza and I, I wont let either of your to fall victim to him." Roy looked confident, as always, as he finished, "He's been targeting state alchemist's and has gotten ten, well eleven now, and we cant lose Ed," I blushed, I couldn't figure out why, "or you Al." we nodded and walked to their car, Roy was driving which meant Riza was in shotgun, and Al and I were in back, I was sitting behind Roy looking out the window. I could a glimpse of his reflection in the mirror, he was smirking at me, I looked away.
What was he going to do? It's starting to worry me; we'll both be at Central for some time, which meant lot's of free time, but he's colonel, so, he'll probably working.

"Could that ride have been any longer?" I was pretty sore right now, and tired,
"Brother! Be nice!" Al was obviously not very impressed by my behavior. I yawned,
"I'm so tired" and I should be, it was ,like, 1 in the morning,
"Fine, Riza, show Al his room. Ed, I'll show you yours" Roy was grinning.
I could hear Al and Riza start talking about, like, cats or something as they walked away.
_Ed's POV_
When we got to my room, I walked inside and put my stuff down on the edge of the bed, I turned around jumped; Roy was standing only inches from my face. He pushed me against the wall and kissed me. hard. Before I even began to consider if he was joking around with me, I kissed him back, not caring whether or not he meant this. I wasn't going to let this go to waste, but, I haven'd even kissed anyone until just now,
"Wait.." I put my hands on his chest, palms spread, and I pushed him back a little,
"What is it" he looked confused,
"..We.. Cant.. Do.. This.." I managed in between breaths. Roy just looked at me,
"and why is that" he spoke softly and seductively to me,
"It's...wrong"
"That doesn't mean you don't like it" with that, he grabbed me and pulled me onto the bed; I gasped and put my arms around his neck for support, his lips pressed against mine, and the kiss turned into a make out session, he started to take my pants off, and I gladly helped him, I started to yank at his shirt, which ended up in a heap on the floor, by my pants. he began to unbuckle his pants and I pulled my coat off; throwing somewhere on the floor. He literally pulled my shirt off; ripping it, and threw it on the desk by the door. He began trailing kisses down my neck and hit my sweet spot; I moaned in pleasure, and could feel him smirk, I started to entangle my fingers in his hair lustfully. He had his hands on my waist and started to trail kisses down my chest and abdomen, and finally my pelvis, I groaned and his tongue crept back up my body until he reached my lips, we started making out again and his tongue asked for entrance, I immediately accepted the request. Our tongues battled for dominance, but Roy won, he softly kissed up my neck and began nibbling at my ear and I moaned, fairly loud this time,
"I love you" he whispered loud enough for only my ears,
"I-I love you too" I was stuttering, I never stutter. He grabbed me by waist and pulled me against him.
We fell asleep like that; me lying on his chest and him continually pulling me closer to his warm body.
Damn, I love this man.

Al's POV
