STEFAN

The toast Ashley made was amazing and perfect. Just like him. I thought. What
the f*k am I thinking? I don't love Ashley... He has a f*king girlfriend! And
he's...well...he's a guy! And I'm a guy! Am I gay? No..no of course not. I'm not
gay... As these thoughts poured into my mind, I didn't catch myself staring at
him. He gave me a weird look, like he was telepathically saying, "What the hell
are you looking at?". I broke my gaze and riveted my focus back on breakfast.
Okay, calm down Stefan. You're not gay, you're not in love with Ashley. You just
love him as a brother, and that dream you had last night.. That was just a
dream! It wasn't real! It was your imagination running wild! I snuck a peek back
at Ashley, who now had his back turned and was flipping through some magazines.
"Hey Stefan, we should do a Lady Gaga parody sometime." I started sweating.
"Haha, yeah, t-that'd be neat..." I stammered. Ashley turned round. "You
alright, mate?" His face was that of concern now, worried. I smiled weakly. "I
need to go to the toilet, excuse me..." I said awkwardly. I ran embarrassingly to
Ashley's restroom, which was sparkling clean. Clean white towels, sensational
lemon scents, and shining tile.
I rubbed my head and stared back into the mirror. I washed my face and took a
few deep breathes. I don't know how long I was, but I was in the bathroom long
enough for Ashley to come knocking at the door. His gorgeous and kindly voice
was muffled. "Stefan? Are you alright in there?" I could barely speak. "Y-yes!
I'm fine!" I didn't recognise my own voice. I finally came out of the bathroom
after five minutes after Ashley came to check on me. I passed him whilst making
my way up the stairs, hiding my face and daring not to look at him. I hurried to
the bedroom and shut the door. At the same, the tears I had been holding in for
so long had burst out.

ASHLEY

I was concerned with Stefan. He had been acting quite strangly, especially
around me. When Dru left, he seemed to break down completely. I've never seen
him act like this before, and I had known him since we were children. He could
barely share a conversation with me now. Then he raced to the restroom. I had
figured it was the hangover or the food, but he was in there for nearly ten
minutes. What worried me the most is when I came to make sure he was okay, he
answered me in a cracking, high-pitched voice. Five minutes later he came out
the bathroom and passed me by. I could see was in tears. So I gave him some time
alone to calm down. I mean, he did slam that door pretty damn hard.

A few minutes later, Dru came back, dressed normally and showing no hangover
signs. He and I talked for a few, and I told him about Stefan's nonordinary
behaviour, and how he was weeping softly when he came out of the restroom.
