"do you have your own flat?"he asked me shit i didnt know i quickly looked through my bag and in my purse there was a little note with my house address printed onto it i simply nodded
"you dont say much do you"he laughed and then handed me a drink i examined the contents and the bottle making sure nothing had been added
"no um i guess not anyway best be going"
i got up placed my drink on the table and walked to the door i was three steps away and then it opened a guy walked in i knew him from somewhere i tried not to but
"ASHLEY ITS YOU OH MY GOD HI IVE MISSED YOU"i threw my arms around him he hugged me back he looked at me a type of you-know-me-but-i-dont-know-you-look,then it hit me it wasnt ashley i was seeing well it was but it wasnt you see the ashley i know is alittle older than him,so maybe thirty years older than him so let me tell you how i know him,in the year 1990 him and my sister gen meet they fall in love get married and have a child shit i didnt realise i know him but he didnt know who i was you see if this is happening im not born yet im not born for another five or six years,
"shit i-i bye"i yelled as i ran past him and down the stairs tears forming in my eyes i wanted to hug him longer i knew him yet he had no fucking clue who i was if only he knew but still i just made a fool of my self i ran out the building i could hear foot steps coming after mine i just kept running i reached my car i shoved the key in the socket and turned it i sat down then shut the door i rested my head in the wheel and began to silently sob to my self i heard a soft knock on the window i looked up to see stefan i pointed to the seat next to me he walked around and got into my car,
"whats wrong and most of all whats your name?"he asked
"im called summer and if i told you you'd think im crazy"i began to cry again he placed his hand on mine
"i wont i promise summer trust me"the way he spoke my name sent shivers down my spine,
"help me get to my flat and stay for a little while?"i asked he nodded i told him the address and he showed me where it was i put a record on again the one that was stood up was 'david bowie' i pushed the needle onto the record a song called 'star man' began to play,
"i love this care to dance?"stefan asked me i nodded we stepped onto the rug he put his arm on my waist i put my arm on his shoulder then we held hands, i placed my head on his shoulder i span around a few times then the song ended we sat down
"go on tell me this crazy story?"he smiled
i sighed and nodded
"ok i used to get beaten up when i was younger,i left when i was sixteen then i have a boyfriend i dumped him three months ago he cheated on me,then not so long ago i was hit by a car this is where you come in you see im born in six years time in 2011 in january i get hit by a car and well i think im in a coma none of this is real your not real stefan!"
"wow,but i am real how do you know ashley?"he asked
"he marrys my sister in 1990!"
he shook his head in disbelieve hes starting to think im crazy you can see it in his eyes
"im off ash will be wondering were ive gone"he nodded then headed to the door
"yeah same im going to get as far away from you and everyone else as possible"he looked shocked that i just said that i shut the flat door and ran down the stairs he didnt follow me this time to busy thinking im fucking crazy,i ran out side sat on a bench and looked up to the sky
"hi me whos maybe dead right now im coming back to you just wait yeah"i looked to the floor
then i heard it it was ashley from the future
"gen shes ok i think well i hope she is"he said it sounded faint i kept spinning then my sister began to talk
"there pulling the plug in a month if you dont wake up"she said tear falling from her face
"ASHLEY GEN ASHLEY ASHLEY GEN"i kept shouting and spinning i felt someone catch me as i fell i pulled away from them and proceeded to run run as fast as i could i came a across a river i sat by it watching the water my eyes began to feel drousy,i fell asleep vunerable and easy for anyone to use me i didnt care the quicker i got out of this place the better i wanted to be back with ashley and gen,it was morning when i woke yet i wasnt in the park i was in stefans flat? he must have found me it must have been him who caught me when i fell i looked up he was there watching me
"morning summer"he smiled
"you dont think im fucking crazy then"i said getting straight to the point
he shook his head,"no"he added
i just nodded maybe been here wasnt so bad stefan seemed to believe me ah the sweet beautiful stefan,
'stop it hes a figure of your imagination hes not real' i thought to my self i cant get to attached il be going back to 2011 soon,

"i found you,i go there in the park to think and when i found you there i couldnt leave you i hope you dont mind but i drove you car here"

"oh my friend told me about you and ive seen you around"

"she was locked out her flat"stefan covered for me he handed me some coco pops he walked out the room and then came back he threw a top at me
"you can change into it if you like"he smiled
i nodded then walked into the room i was in before,i changed my top then walked back to see someone new sat with stefan and ashley
"hey im dru"he said with a half smile
"hi summer"i stuck my hand out for him to shake it but he just again half smiled
stefan and ash went to get something from the livingroom
"you shouldnt trust them you know you should trust me i promise if you do this you can go home"dru said to me
"what do you mean how do you know i want to 'go home'?"i did air quotes around the words go home

with that ash and stef walked in should i trust them or should i trust dru?
