Martha looked over at Katie and Emily, then to Stef and Ash, then back to Dru.
“You… you want me to marry you?” She asked with a huge smile on her face.
“Yeah, more than anything in the world,” He replied, and he took a box out of his pocket. It was an engagement ring. A beautiful green emerald ring. He really did want to marry her.
“Yes!” she screamed. All six friends hugged, and all three girls were screaming. Dru pulled back, and placed the ring on Martha’s finger. She held her hand to her face to take a closer look at the ring. ‘Martha and Dru forever and always’ was engraved around the outside. She was crying of happiness as she looked back up at Dru. She put her hands around his neck and kissed him.

“How will we afford it? Are we even old enough? How will we afford a place together?” Martha panicked. They were back at Ashley’s house. Ash’s parents were away for the weekend, so the six friends were staying over.
“Don’t worry. My great-grandma put a couple of grand in the bank for me before she died. Told me to spend it when I need it, and this is what I want to spend it on. And I looked it up. We are old enough,” He replied. Dru hadn’t taken his arm from around her waist since the engagement. Martha smiled,
“I love you, Dru,”
