Chapter 2
When I opened my eyes everthing was blurry. The sound of birds filled my ears. Once my vision cleared I all I could feel was complete confusion. How are at your house and a few seconds later at some random forest? Worry and anxiety set in once the confusion past. Questions began running through my head. Too many questions, so little answers. My eyes grew wider as a scream filled my ears, then silence. Nothing. I felt like screaming myself, but I decide to run towards the scream. When I get there I see two men in black cloaks with crimson clouds all over the black fabric. I could see a pool of blood around the dead man on the ground. My face goes pale and I start to feel sick to my stomach. I knew who the men were, not including the one on the ground. The men were Itachi Uchiha and Kisame Hoshigaki. Even more fear overwhelmed my body when the Uchiha turned his head and started to walk towards me. My head was screaming at me to run, but my legs wouldn't move. Itachi grabbed me fiercely by the arm and was pulled into the open.

"Well, would you look at that? Someone decided to spy on us.", smirked Kisame. I couldn't meet Itachi's eyes, nor could I do the same with Kisame. I was too frightened to do so.

"Who are you?", Itachi demanded while letting go of my arm.

"Elizabeth...Elizabeth Daughtry.", I answer in almost a whisper.

"What are you doing in the forest?", questioned Kisame. Once I gained enough courage to look at them I could see a grin plastered across the shark-like man's face. I shifted my eyes to Itachi. His eyes are narrowed and does not look very pleased. I did not respond to Kisame's question. I wanted to speak, but something was stopping me. Words just would not come out. My eyes looked at the ground once again.

"So, what should we do with her, Itachi?", asked the former Mist ninja.

'Wait. What does he mean by 'What should we do with her?' Are they going to kill me?!', I think frantically to myself.

Itachi’s P.O.V.

I knew we could not just let her go after she just witnessed this murder.

"We will take her with us.", I answered.

Elizabeth’s P.O.V.

What?! Did I hear him correctly? There is no way that I am going with them to the Akatsuki Hideout! Yet, now that I think about it I have no choice. I am no match against them. Those men could kill me in a blink of an eye.

"So, are you going to cooperate and come with us nicely or will we have to do this the hard way?", asked Kisame. An inaudible sigh passed through my lips.

"Fine, I'll come.", I mumbled as I looked Kisame in the eyes.

"Good.", spoke Itachi. He now had his back turned to me and Kisame motioned for me to follow.

'What am I going to do?', I asked myself. This is the most terrifying situation I have ever been in. I knew it would be dark soon and I was not looking forward to sleeping on the ground near S-ranked criminals. I looked up at the sky and tried to make my mind drift off and make all the worry go away, yet no matter how hard I tried the thought and questions in my head would not stop coming. The birds still sang as we walked. Itachi and Kisame stopped infront of me. I eyed them curiously, wondering if there was something wrong.

"We will stop here for tonight.", spoke Itachi.

"Sounds good to me", smirked Kisame. I sighed as I gently lay myself on the ground. I looked up at the sky and stared at the stars; completely mesmerized by it all. My eyes scanned the star-filled sky, searching for the different constellations. Kisame's voice snapped me out of my thoughts,

"I'll go get some food.", soon after Kisame spoke he vanished into the tranquil forest. I felt my eyes starting to close, begging for sleep. It was then that I felt eyes watching me. I looked across from me to see Itachi's onyx eyes watching me. Those eyes...they held no hint of emotion, nothing at all. I felt my heartbeat increase and quickly shut my eyes. Itachi made me feel weak and insignificant...he terrified me, yet at the same time I longed to understand him. It was not soon before long that I fell into a sleep full of dreams.

Dream

My eyes fluttered open to see a luscious field of grass and flowers. I smiled as doves flew through the air. The sun warmed my face while the scent of flowers filled my nose. My smile shifted into a frown as the doves shed their white feathers to show black ones instead, the pink-flowered trees changed into petal-less trees, the sun shifted into the moon, and the sky turned blood-red. My eyes widened as horrific, shrilling voices hit my ears. I clutched my head with my hands. I couldn't make out the words all the voices were trying to say.

"Stop...", I whispered.

"STOP!", I screamed at the top of my lungs. Suddenly, the voices just stopped and were replaced with a different voice, yet it was so familiar. It was echoing my name multiple times.

"Elizabeth, Elizabeth, Elizabeth..." Each time my name was called it seemed to even louder, even closer.

End of Dream

My body was being shaken by someone with him repeating my name at the same time. I opened my eyes to see the infamous Uchiha Itachi. He stopped calling out my name and stated,

"The food is here and I suggest you have a bite to eat before we head off."

'Ah, so the food is finally here, but wow, that was one hell of a dream.', I thought to myself.
