James is punished by his own id, and he is far from guiltless.
Nicely done, if I might say so. If I might make a suggestion, though, I'd move the author's note to the end of the fic. It'd help to preserve the sense of uncertainty James must feel about, er, just where that knife is going.
It's been a while since I've read a Silent Hill fan fiction that actually touches on the themes of the game. I really liked this.
