April 9, 1963. Dear Janis, thank you for taking the time to write me. Believe it or not I don't get alot of mail. My fans prefer to tell me what they think to my face. I like what you said about your letter being a rain drop in an ocean, that was really poetic. I like poetic stuff. It's real nice that your from Louisiana, it's real fun there.
