When we see stars
We see light
We see beauty
or nothing at all
We think little of small lights in the sky so small and so much like us
They’re there when we look
hidden or bright
But one day one will burn out, gone
If its in a big constellation we miss it.
A small dim stare flickers out, no one knows
but the sky is changed forever
It will never be the same
We see light
We see beauty
or nothing at all
We think little of small lights in the sky so small and so much like us
They’re there when we look
hidden or bright
But one day one will burn out, gone
If its in a big constellation we miss it.
A small dim stare flickers out, no one knows
but the sky is changed forever
It will never be the same
