I'm Sorry

by DisenchatedDestroya 4 reviews

I only ever mess up. It's not like you're any better. Warning: depressing as hell on a hot summer's day. Read, review, rate and feel my love! :P

I'm Sorry

I'm sorry that I'm not perfect,
Just like you'll be sorry when I'm gone,
I don't believe in regrets and have only one;
Dragging this out for way too long.

I'm sorry that I let you down,
Just like you constantly do me,
When I wonder about letting my blood go free,
Or swinging from my favourite tree.

I'm sorry that I'm not pretty,
Just like you think you are,
Well, you're prettier than me by far,
Especially with my wrists still sticky like tar.

I'm sorry that I don't fit in,
Just like you beseech me to,
Simply so I can be seen with you,
And just find joy in all that I do.

I'm sorry that I've given in,
Just like you thought I never would,
But it just feels way too good,
And the metallic twinkle says I should.

I'm sorry,
Don't worry;
It's just once more in a sea of forevers,
And never-ending nevers,
That we never thought would end.
I'm sorry,
Just, please; don't worry,
It's not like I ever was fine.

I'm sorry that I'm not perfect,
Just like you'll be sorry when I'm gone,
I don't believe in regrets and have only one;
Dragging this out for way too long.

I'm sorry.
