Jimmy's P.O.V
"Hey."
I looked up from the steps I was sitting on. Drew was staring down at me, he was the only friend I could actually count on.
"What are you doing?"
I pointed to the tree across campus.
"Drawing that."
"Wouldn't you prefer to draw something much more exciting, like me." He grinned broadly.
"No."
Drew sat beside me on the steps leading up to one of the college buildings.
"I heard you got transferred to a different literature class. The one filled with douchebags."
I payed no attention to him and focused on my drawing. He grabbed my pencil out of my hand.
"I have another one." I pulled out another pencil from my pocket. This time Drew grabbed my sketch pad.
"That's the only class we had together."
I wasn't really in the mood to discuss anything and besides, I was late for literature anyways.
"I gotta go."
Drew frowned, "Fine, be like that." He got up and left. I slowly walked to the literature class, the later I was, the better.
"You decided to show up after all. " Armstrong gave me a death stare, "Can I see your work?"
I hadn't done the work on purpose just to piss him off and it was working well.
"Didn't do it."
He didn't look surprised one bit, he could shout and punish me all he wanted, I still wouldn't do it.
"Just sit down." He exhaled deeply.
A piece of paper was thrown at my head. I knew which cunt had thrown it but decided not to say anything.
"Open it." Kenneth whispered into my ear. I did as I was told.
'If we all get punished because of you badass act, you'll pay.'
I scrunched the paper up and threw it at Jack's head. He turned around and mouthed 'You're dead.'
As usual, the lesson was boring and a complete waste of time, I wasn't aware of when I fell asleep. I woke up to realise that it was only me and Armstrong left in the class.
"Oh good, you're awake."
I stretched my arms and began to pack up my things.
"Not so fast." He blocked my path.
"I need to get home."
"Look, I don't know who you're trying to impress with your attitude but drop it." He said sternly.
"Can I go now?"
He could think whatever he wanted, he didn't know me and I didn't know him.
"At least show some respect and have the decency to look at me when I'm talking to you."
I rolled my eyes and looked up at him. I had never actually properly studied his face, just looking at him made my knees weak. I was mesmerized by his green eyes. I quickly snapped out of my thoughts, had I really practically just called a male 'hot'?
I rushed out of the class, red with embarrassment. I wasn't watching where I was going and knocked someone down.
"Watch it, you blind fuck." The boy growled. I was in no mood to say something rude to him.
I simply just apologized and helped him up.
"You're still a blind fuck." The boy smiled, he looked an awful lot familiar, but the problem was that I'd never once met him in my life.
"Again, I apologize for being a 'blind fuck'." I held out my hand and he shook it.
"It's okay, I'm Joey."
I wasn't the socializing type and was surprised when he actually told me his name.
"And I'm nobody important." I hurried away from him before he could say anything else. I arrived home later than usual.
"Mom." I called out. I recieved no reply. I noticed for the first time she wasn't on the couch.
"Mom?" I called out again, I was a bit afraid that something bad had happened to her.
"In here, Jimmy." I followed her voice to the kitchen. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. My mother was actually using the stove to cook.
"Is this some kind of joke? Because it's not funny." I nearly snapped.
"No. You remember after the divorce, I had lost contact with all my friends because I refused to talk to anyone?"
I nodded my head, even if I didn't quite understand what she was trying to say.
"Well, tonight I'm having some of my friends over so we can catch up." She smiled brightly, something I hadn't seen her do in a short while. I knew this change wasn't permanent, but it was a start.
"That's good. I'll be up in my room." I was about to head upstairs when she stopped me.
"No, no. I can't have you blasting your music."
I grunted, "Fine, I'll go over to Drew's."
"I'll see you tomorrow." She waved and went back to cooking.
Drew was probably still annoyed that I was ignoring him this morning, but he'll get over it, eventually.
"Come in." Drew's dad instructed kindly
He didn't even bother to ask why I was at their house, that's the thing I love about Drew's family, I'm always welcome.
"Hello Jimmy, Drew is upstairs in his room," Drew's mom said, "I'll come get you both when dinner is ready."
I forced a smile and quickly escaped to Drew's room.
"I knew I could hear your voice." He muttered.
I dropped my things on the floor and sat on his bed.
"What are you doing?"
"Oh nothing."
I wasn't sure if he was still pissed or not.
"Sorry about earlier."
I was awful with apologies, but tried my best.
"It's okay, look what I just got." He handed me a magazine filled with pictures of either half-naked or fully naked girls. I wasn't impressed by any of them.
"They're okay."
Drew stared at me in disbelief, "Okay? They're fucking hot!"
He kept bothering me about which one I would screw.
"None."
His mouth hung open, "Either you're blind or just simply gay."
I cringed at the last word. So now I was gay all because I wasn't attracted to any of the girls in a fucking porn magazine.
"I need to use your bathroom." I got out of his room before he could pester me with more questions.
I splashed my face with cold water and leant against the door.
I found myself thinking about one person in particular, someone that shouldn't even be in my thoughts. He was a huge jackass that could go rot in a hole. I noticed that I had hardened down there, I tried to reassure myself that it was because of the magazine. Without thinking, I slipped my hand down my pants and rapidly stroked myself. My breathing increased as I neared.
"Oh fuck, Mr.Armstrong." I moaned loudly as I came.
It took me a few minutes to realise that I had jacked off to a guy. I didn't know whether to be disgusted or in shock, it probably didn't mean anything. The only reason he had been on my mind was because he was a fucking douche, nothing else.
There was a knock at the door, "Jimmy, are you okay in there?" Drew asked from the other side.
"Uh, yeah. I'll be out in a minute."
I cleaned myself up and returned to Drew's room. What happened in the bathroom was still circling my head, I tried my best to forget about it but it was useless.

I had been dreading Literature all day. I didn't even cause any disruption in any of my other classes. Since Literature was last class, I knew it would be long and boring. The worst part was that I was going to have to see him.
"Someone showed up on time today." Armstrong said as I headed for my seat. I ignored him and didn't even bother to make eye contact. My gaze was locked on the table throughout the whole class.
"You're weekend assignment is to write a six page essay on 'Homosexuality', since you all love making rude jokes and being ignorant about it.
"Jimmy is sure to get an A on this." Jack said loudly.
There was an uproar of laughter, I sank lower into my seat.
"Jimmy's sexuality has nothing to do with you." Gloria said sharply. I really didn't need her sticking up for me.
"I'm not gay."
My attempts to dispel Jack's rumour failed.
"Oh yeah, because wearing eyeliner is so fucking normal for guys." He sneered.
I tried to concentrate on starting my essay, but I knew that he was writing about me. I kicked the table over and stormed out the door.
"Jimmy!" I heard Armstrong call, but I didn't bother looking back. They could all go fuck themselves.
"Hey."
