Mikey's Point Of View

"Mikes?" I looked up at Gerard. He had left to answer the ringing phone. A pained expression covered his face as he handed me the phone.

"Hello?"

"Hey, it's Christian. Marie's back in the city." Marie! It's been two years!

"Really?! Ohmygosh! I've missed her so much!"

"Mikey, she's. She's in the hospital. She was thrown off a balcony." Christian's voice was breaking, just like my heart.

"W-what? Which hospital?"

"The one on main street. Hurry, Mikey. It's not looking very well." Christian hung up. I just sat there in shock.

"Mikes?" I shook my head no. I couldn't grasp reality. I just wanted to see her smile again. "Mikes, common. Let's go."
