These are my all time favorites. Hold onto your hats, ladies and gentlemen, it's a bumpy ride. ~Enjoy. //Edit 07.14.14//

Category: My Chemical Romance - Rating: PG - Genres:  - Characters: Bob Bryar,Frank Iero,Gerard Way,Mikey Way,Ray Toro - Warnings: [!!!] [V] [X] [R] [?] [Y] - Published: 2012-05-21 - Updated: 2014-07-14 - 3700 words

Alright I'm updating because I've stopped reading MCR fanfiction and I need to finish giving all these links I have, capiche? I may have changed but I still want to let you guys read happy, so. Here it goes. Last update, as far as I am concerned.

(The ones with hearts are the ones I could still read now, given what's happened and how much time has passed. Multiple hearts says YOU SHOULD READ, DEFINITELY.)

I've also gotten rid of my (unnecessary) commentary. Just 'cause I find myself (or at least 12 year old me) definitely a brand of annoying.

also if you wanna just browse yourself look "here":
guarantee it's always good down this list

Hello! So this is organized by alphabetical order. Most of these are TO THE BARE MINIMUM, about 3,000 words. Most of these are actually very, VERY, far over 3,000 words. Oh, and about 90% of these are NC-17. Just a fair warning. It should be obvious these are all Frerards. Anyways, let’s get the show on the road, shall we?

The Mafia is also known as La Cosa Nostra, which translates into "Our Thing" - underlying the extremely secretive qualities of the organization." And of course, Gerard Way falls in love with a Frank Iero.
~ I feel like most people on this site hold this close to their heart. The reason being the story was written by a person who put her very heart and soul into her writing, her sweat, blood and tears, doing something she loved. Another reason being that she’s somewhere better now; I really hope she is.
Last Scene: "Without You I’m Nothing":

♡ "The Rise and Fall of the Black Parade":

♡ ♡ ♡ "Skin of the Canvas":
Summary: In which Gerard is a recovering alcoholic in art school who has trouble with self esteem and Frank sometimes models nude for some quick money.

"The Sky-High City":
Summary: Then he can't think of anything else. He's got a scorpion tattoo on his neck, so that kind of limits his options. He can't get a normal job. He'd like to maybe be in a band again, but he thinks that after My Chemical Romance, everything else would suck in comparison.

"Small Talk Big Thoughts":
Summary: Frank was five when he found Gerard. The little white haired boy was cowering behind the rose bush in Frank's nonna's backyard. His clothes were dirty and tattered, and his little arms were shaking, wrapped around his knees, pulled up to his chest. AU.

In his senior year, though, this stupid gay freshman disproves Fordhaven's straightness, and throws Gerard's entire world off-kilter.

♡♡ "This Never Happened":
Summary: This is not a story. My thoughts on what would happen if Frank had to move in with the Ways for his senior year of high school do not constitute a story. It's ~in costume~ as a story. A twenty-eight and a half thousand word costume, because apparently even my badfic wolfshirt bullshit things are bafflingly long-winded.
~ A not!fic. (i.e. humor>grammar xD) and, in my opinion, the best one I have read yet.

"This Tornado Loves You":
Summary: 1933. Frank's been on the run a long time and he's forced to stop in his old hometown. At first things are about what he expects - old friends, unpleasant memories, and a less-than-desirable home life. Everything changes one night when he stumbles on an old hedge maze hidden in the woods. It's not the hedge maze that intrigues him the most, though, but the secrets of the house hidden inside.

♡ "(To Die Will Be) An Awfully Big Adventure":
R - NC-17
Summary: Gerard has always vaguely liked the idea of being a vampire, in much the same way he's always vaguely liked the idea of time travel, or of being a pirate - but it's only when he wakes up dead that he realises that not all his fans (or friends) are actually human. This is rather a shock to the system, but Gerard does his best to deal with the fact that he's now an undead American, and he's lucky enough to get a little help from an unexpected corner. Just as he thinks he's starting to get the hang of being a vampire, however, everything suddenly goes to hell in a handbasket, and before he knows it there are angry vampires slayers chasing him around LA, and an urgent appointment with the Fairy Queen looming before him...

"Trees Have Roots and I Have You":

Rish – NC-17

Note: BEST

♡♡♡ "Vampires Will Never Hurt You (But I Make No Promises About Zombies)":
Summary: Gerard clenches his fists tighter. "It's a disease," he says defensively.
Sequel: "You Only Hear the Music When Your Heart Begins to Break": (here is the actual slash WHICH IS SO WONDERFULLY WRITTEN I CAN'T EVEN EXPRESS MY ~FEELINGS~).

♡"The Way We Fly":
Summary: the story of robot!frank and the genius who made him.

"When I Grow Up":
R - NC-17
Summary: He’d been opposed to seeing a shrink at first, but when he stopped going to class and had indefinitely flunked out, he decided that maybe he really did have a problem. He didn’t care so long as there was a pattern; a regime he could follow without thinking. And for awhile, it helped. It really did. Until he showed up.

"When the Curtain Falls":
Hard R
Summary: If you were on a boat that would blow up in the air within 35 minutes, what would you do? Would you come clean with all the shit you’ve done in your life so that you can go to heaven in peace, or would you show your secret love just what you feel for them?

"Where They Are Now.":
Summary: VH1 airs a documentary about the long gone band, My Chemical Romance.

♡ "You and Your High-Top Sneakers and Your Sailor Tattoos":
R - NC-17
Summary: High school AU. Frank seemed not to like Gerard at all, which made Gerard feel slightly uncomfortable even though he wasn't sure if Frank liked anything at all. (Featuring Gerard as the social outcast, Frank as the rebellious punk who hates everyone, lots of swearing, and a tipsy make-out session in a graveyard.)
