Gerard sat quietly,but peacefully with a mug of hot coffee as he stared out at the bleak sky of New Jersey through the rain stained window of his apartment.
"There might be something outside your window,but you just,never know"
Gerard looked to his right and saw the head of a little Frank Iero perched on his shoulder grinning at his oh-so-funny lyric reference
"Sorry couldn't help it Gee" he smirked
"So have a nice sleep?" Gerard asked after taking a sip of his morning coffee
"Well" Frank paused "what I got of it" he giggled
"Oh shush you" Gerard said playfully ruffling his hair
"So that really happened last night didn't it" Gerard said coming to the realization that he did infact sleep with his best friend and band mate just a few hours earlier
Frank sighed as he got off Gerard's shoulder and looked out of the window
"Yes it did Gerard" Frank replied bleakly
There was a moment of quiet between the two 30-odd year old's before Frank spoke up
"Ididn'tregretitthough" Frank said in one breath making it hard for Gerard to understand what was just said to him
"Excuse me Frank,what did you just say I didn't quite catch that"
"I said that i didn't regret it" Frank said slowly but just as nervous "last night i mean" clarifying what he'd meant
"Oh" was Gerard's simple reply
"Well if its any consolation" Gerard started "I didn't regret it either" He finished looking at Frank's face for any sign of a reaction to the statement he'd just admitted in the open
"And...I love you Frankie"
And at that moment Frank's eyes lit up like a young child and hugged Gerard nearly knocking over the mug of hot coffee in his hand
"Woah steady there Frankie,we have all weekend"
Frank looked at Gerard and kissed him on the forehead before walking over to the small kitchen probably to make himself a coffee
Gerard smiled at went back to looking out of the window,which was still as dark and miserable as it was before,typical New Jersey.
