I hate the light
It shows my scars
It shows my flaws
It highlights them for all to see

I can see them to
There closed eyes not able to see
But they can see my scars
I wish I could be blind
Blind to myself but see yours
Your scares and not care
Like them


To be shrouded in darkness
Where they can’t see
Can’t see the scares
Not see me
Where I can’t see
See what I’ve become

I feel like this all the time
I feel like screaming
I feel like dyeing
I feel like nothing but shit
The gum on the bottom of your shoe
All because I opened my eyes...
