  This was so sad! I almost cried, and I pretty much never cry. The descriptions, about everything that Gerard would never hear Frank do again, that really put me over the edge. I guess because there's a lot of little things about people that you don't really notice till they're not around anymore, but then once they are there's just nothing where all those things used to be. That definitely got me the most.
  This was beautifully written, as usual, and I loved it not matter how sad it was!
  
  On a side note, I must ask; don't English children have summer vacation? Every British child on the interwebs seem to have tests whose names are acronyms right now, even though it's halfway through June.
  
  Anyway, excellent story and I hope you get a break from school shit soon!

  Sorry about the sadness; please don't cry! The descriptions' purposes were kind of to give little hits of misery, so I'm glad they worked even if they did make you sad. I know from experience that it's the little things you never think of or even the things that you think you find annoying that you miss the most; that you wish you appreciated whilst those little things were still around to be appreciated. Thank you very, very much and I'm extremely pleased that you liked it!
  
  We do have the summer holidays, yes, but not until another four/five weeks. We're then off until September. I take it you guys in America are already off? If so, I envy you greatly. ;)

  I am actually crying. It's so sad. I mean like the way you wrote it made all the more emotional and just absolutely perfect. I love the whole concept and I really enjoyed it. So sad but kind of sweet at the same time. You know, your Frerards are the only Frerards that I read. Only yours! Because I'm not a fan of them but you really make me enjoy yours!!! I hope the exams and school work haven't got you too stressed or anything! Take your time posting and reviewing and stuff ! :)

  I'm really glad that this came across as emotional as I worked really hard with putting as much emotion as possible Into this piece. I'm relieved that you still enjoyed this despite it's sadness and that you managed to find some sweetness with the misery.   Reading everyone else's reviews saying that they cried makes me feel kind of heartless that I didn't, though you said please not to cry so maybe that's not a bad thing. I very nearly did though. You're simply amazing. There is no other way to describe it. Oh and this: Everyone always pities the deceased, the one whose brilliance has been deprived of the world’s caring nurturing, but it’s the ones left behind that I feel truly sorry for. is exactly how I feel about death. Don't pity the dead. Pity the living who are left to pick up the pieces. Man, that's depressing. I apologise.
  
  For whatever reason though, until the very end I thought it was Gerard who had died. I'm not sure why, I just did. Anyway, this was simply fantastic and incredibly moving.

  Thank you very, very much! I'm glad you agree with my thoughts about pitying the living left behind. I personally lost someone very close and know how bad it does hurt and how long for. Don't apologise; sometimes depressing is good.
