servent bond?Author's response
Ah, I see. No, it isn't a servant bond. Rather, Hermione's (unintentionally) using her magic to save Harry's. This can be life-threatening to her since she's so young and her core has yet to stabilize. Rather, bonding them was magic's way of compensating for her sacrifice and making sure she didn't die from it.
Does that make sense? The Life Bond

I like it so far. You have taken a scene and a concept that has been done to death, and made it your own. It is usually Harry that makes some sort of sacrifice, or just risks his life for her, and that is what initiates any bond. For it to be Hermione trying to pay him back for saving her is something I haven't read before. That doesn't mean it hasn't been done before. It only means I haven't seen it until now.
I do have a question. What does the following line mean? "Granted, it didn’t last, but the fact that he summoned one at all was astonishingly." It was astonishingly what? I think you meant 'astonishing'.Author's response
Thank you! I'm so glad you like it so far. =D
As for your question, that is indeed a typo. I meant 'astonishing'. This just goes to show I need a beta, lol.
