Story Start

It was an eerie silence as no traffic, human beings, or anything besides the bus sped down the road. ''Shizuka-san could you come to a halt up ahead?'' Naruto asked as he stood up. He may not have been able to see, but he estimated their location. They were near a convenience store near the outskirts of the town.

The silence was soon broken by a blonde survivor wearing a black sweater! ''Hey! We'll never get anywhere if we keep going like this! First, why do we have to do what you guys have planned to do? You all decided to go back to the city without asking us." He further ranted. Shizuka's eyebrows twitched as she heard him rant. She readjusted the seat belt, making her tits bounce from the belt smacking them.

''Yeah, there's a convenience store right there. Why don't we just hide there?'' another one of the students suggested.

''Get off and hide if you want to,'' Naruto responded gruffly as he didn't want to deal with some whiny teenagers bullshit, ''But I for one want a secure location with high ground and a sturdy store stocked with supplies, not to mention one that doesn't have easy to smash glass entrances for one.'' he commented as in the foreground the sound of a helicopter could be heard. Glancing outside someone fell from the helicopter. Blood spattered as the body contorted in a sickening way.

This momentarily distracted Shizuka as she nearly tipped over to swerve and avoid some cards.

As a result one of the obnoxious newcomers started complaining. ''Can't you drive any slower! I almost...''

The bus came to a screeching halt and nearly everyone jumped or was brought to a screeching halt.

''That's enough, lay off of me! I've never driven one of these before!''

''I'll be back in a few minutes,'' Naruto said as he exited the bus and immediately afterwords the blond student suddenly rounded on Takashi.

''What's with you! What the fuck are you looking at?''

''Why are you acting like this?'' Saeko asked in annoyance as she raised for her seat.

The blond looked back at Saeko with a scowl."I fucking hate this this guy!" he yelled while pointing at Takashi. Kohta was ready to stand up but Saya prevented him.

"Why? Why do you hate me?'' Takashi asked as he stood up.

"You…" the blond growled before moving in to attack Takashi. Rei slammed her make-shift spear into his stomach before he could, making him spit as he clutched his stomach.

Most of the students either recoiled in shock or their jaw drops as the student fell to the floor.

''Rei...'' Takashi started to say in astonishment as she turned to him with a smile. Though that was ruined by the sudden clapping.

Shido said as he came forward while clapping, "Komuro-kun, Miyamoto-san, it's wonderful to see such great teamwork,'' he said walking forward while continuing to clap. ''However to keep fights like this from breaking out, I think we should try a little idea I had. What we need is a leader. A leader just for us!'' ' Shido explained with a smirk.

"And lemme guess. There's only one person who could shoulder that burden?'' Saya questioned; using her pinkie to adjust her glasses.

"Well Takagi, I'm a teacher Takaghi-san. And you all are students. I'm the only one qualified.'' he said looking down on her. ''If you agree with lil ol' me...would you please clap your hands?''

Shido asked his own group. The students clapped and cheered for him as Shido bowed to them in thanks.

'''Hah! What the hell would you know about surviving something like this?'' Naruto challenged from the doorway. Strapped to his back was a bulky backpack. ''Seeing as I'm the only one with extensive knowledge on these things, fought them, and have experienced what they're capable of I'm better suited.''

''And we should listen to you? That your little false stories are going to sway us?''

''Are you a fucking fool!'' Naruto shouted as he pointed outside.''Those are flesh eating creatures out there! The undead! Fucking zombies! It doesn't matter what you believe as everything I say is the truth! I'll tell you now I won't lift a finger to save your slimy sorry ass and to the rest of you...'' he began informing Shido's group. ''If you follow this snake then you'll die for your own stupidity. Because I've come to terms a long time ago that not everyone can be saved and if you're stupid enough to follow people like him then you deserve to die.''

''I refuse...I refuse to be around that man!'' Rei exclaimed in rage as she opened the door and jumped outside.

''Rei!'' Takashi shouted. ''Rei!'' he followed after her.

''No! Now way in hell am I ever going to travel with that bastard!''

Naruto looked up as he could hear another bus speeding towards them. ''Shit! You two get the hell out of the way!'' he shouted as everyone was suddenly alerted to what the blond was pointing too.

The bus full of undead tipped over and slammed into several cars at full speed setting it on fire. Several of the undead were coming out of the bus, lit ablaze by the flames.

''Damn! This noise is going to track god knows what! '' He said as he went outside with a kunai drawn. Saeko also exited the buss ready to have the blond's back.

''Takasi-san! Rei-san! We need a place to meet at.''

''Yeah! Let's meet up...at Higashi Police station!'' Takashi shouted over the roar of the flames.

Two undead charged at the bus. Naruto flicked the kunai into the eye of the undead and with a palm strike shattered it's head while twisting it's left arm in an in-humanoid motion gripping the top of its mouth and ripping the top portion of his head clear off.

While he was busy Saeko tried to verified the exact time.

''If not today, then tomorrow in the afternoon at seven-thirty at the latest.''

Naruto and Saeko re-entered the bus. While the former knew he could have easily helped the two over there the Rei girl seemed to have some history with that teacher and in her current emotional state of anger would have been a liability.

''Our way is blocked we need to find an alternate route.''

Shizuka nodded, ''I know! I'll take us to a different road!'' she said going in another direction.

Rei and Takashi had made it through the tunnel before the fire could consume them. They were attacked by a biker helmeted zombie. Rei was able to dispatch it by slamming a concrete block into this head. Takashi concluded that a bike was nearby since he was wearing a helmet. Stealing the bike the two road off into the night. Continuing down the road Rei tried to wave them some fighter pilots who continued on as if they didn't see them to her annoyance.

Upon searching a patrol they lucked out upon finding a handgun of sorts. Takashi felt someone better that they have a gun seeing the weapon Naruto had gave him was on the bus. Holding the weapon in his hand a new sensation went through Takashi. A realization on how real this all was. Before the adrenaline was coursing through him so it was a do or die situation.

Unfortunately not too long after the duo had a fight of sorts. Certain things were coming to forefront like the childhood promise and Hiashi. Then there was the thrill that Takashi was finding that was awakening in him. The sort of thing that only a world of chaos could bring to the forefront. Rei, distracted by her thoughts was soon taking hostage by a thug. With a knife to her throat he made his intentions cleared when he mentioned their was no 'bitches' as he put it around since everyone was turning into zombies. And how much thrill he got from killing even his own family when they turned.

The thug's on haste though led to Takashi outsmarting him and outgunning him saving Rei. His gun trained on the thug's arm, a feet pulled off by the smaller male's speed advantage. With a bullet through the arm the thug was left on the ground like a sobbing little bitch as more undead closed in on them.

Upon the next day other groups were making movements. High in the school an airplane was flying over head.

''We've finished checking the passengers. None of them are infected.''

''Nor are there any injured or sick, so we will prepare for take-off.''

"Your family lives in Tokyo, right?'' the older of the two pilots asked.

''Nobody would pick up when I called.'' the younger pilot, a blonde haired man replied.

''Jxo89, this is Tokonosu tower, stand by on runway 34, we have a...problem.''

Down below undead were being sniped one by one.''Wonderful! The beasts have been obliterated!''

One of the snipers a woman stood up and stretched as the sniper contacted the pilots through his head shot. ''What are you doing?''

''I wasn't able to get any sleep this morning, so I was starting to feel numb.'' The sniper was a dark skinned beauty with long violent hair. The woman began massaging her shoulders and then eventually her tits. she was wearing a large pair of shades and a fashionable collar of some sorts.

''If you can shoot better than me, then sure.''

''Don't be ridiculous! Weren't you the into the best five officers in the country? he commented as he too stood up.

''Then cut it out.''

''Anyway, we're not allowing ships to dock, but people can leave the offshore airport.''

''Is it because of the new regulations?''

''Yeah, blame the people up top. The 'indispensable engineers' who were in charge of airport maintenance are returning home to their families in droves...'' she commented as she placed her hands on her hips. ''We'll only last for so long with our numbers and we've hardly put a dent in these beasts not to mention the Hokkaido and Kyuushuu airports are starting to accept passengers as well. We may have to send some support to strengthen their defenses.''

"Our ammunition is as finite as it is. If we continue to stretch our resources thin we''ll be overrun.'' the man said with a sigh.

"Going to run away already?" the woman asked with a smirk.

"No. Well, not yet." He said as they saw the plane full of survivors take off.

"I'm going to go go the city eventually. I have a friend there who is in need of help. That kind of person would be hopeless in a situation like this.'' She said as she unzipped her jacket showing off her bountiful breasts.

With the others a few hours had passed. Saya was pointing out how places like the airport and harbors would be crowded from all the people trying to leave. The populated areas as such would be quiet dangerous and how people would possibly be dealing with the situation. In point people like Shido would use this advantage to their situation.

''Man I'm glad you stopped at that convenience store.'' Kohta said snacking on some chips Naruto got. Naruto have grabbed as many snacks and bottled waters as he could.

''No good if we all ended up thirsty and hungry.'' he said as he rubbed his eyes with his wrist. 'Damnit. What is wrong with my eyes? It shouldn't be taking them this long to heal.'

A few minutes passed as the bus came to a stop. There seemed to be a jam of some sort as dozens of people continued on by foot.

''We'll dump the annoyances when we get the chance.'' Thanks to Shido loudly raving to his students like some idiot like he was a religious leader the smarter sect of the bus conversed amongst themselves.

''With this sort of obstacle it'd be for the best that we leave this bus behind,'' Saeko suggested. ''If we somehow crossed Onbetsu bridge, though, we'd be going the opposite direction that Higashi police station is in that we promised Komuro-san.''

''What about you Saeko-san? Aren't you concerned about your family?'' he asked. It was only thanks to his mind's eye he could see her smile.

''I am worried, but my father is my only living relative and he is overseas for a martial arts tournament. My concern is the promised made with Komuro-san. My father taught me to value promises as much as I value my life.'' she explained as Naruto couldn't help but chuckle. ''You find something unusual about my words Uzumaki-san?''

''Huh? Oh no, it's just I feel the same way. I hold promises to my precious people as high a regard as I do with life as well. We seem to have quite a few things in common Saeko-san.'' Naruto then addressed the others.''What about the rest of you? If you want my aid in helping your relatives I won't object to it.''

''Just like Komuro, on the other side of the bridge. That's where I live.'' Saya stated.

''My dad is in Holland on Business as he deals with jewelry and my mom's a fashion designer in Paris so we don't have to worry about making any stops for me.'' Hirano informed them.

''If this was a manga, your dad would be the captain of a passenger ship from another country.'' Shizuka randomly stated with a giggle.

In embarrassment Hirano rubbed the back of his head and said, ''...That's my grandpa. My grandma was a violinist.''

This bit of information caused Saya to spaz out in the background as the Gun nut seemed to have a fictional character type of family background. Every member of his family was in a different career that was such an unlikely combination for any single family.

''What about you Shizuka-san?''

''Me...I don't have any family and my relatives all live far away...I hate to ask, but...I don't really like Shidou-sensei.'' Shizuka informed as the others snickered.

Shido noticed. "Hey what is this? We're supposed to be working together...''

''We are a group and we should work together."

''This isn't just some school trip, so we don't have an obligation to associate with you.'' Saya declared.

"I can see you've already decided, so 'please', be my guest and do as you please, Takagi-san. Japan is a free country a free after all. However Marikawa-sensei is in big trouble! We cannot afford to lose our nurse. '' he said as Shizuka tensed. ''So, you'll stay here, will you not? We have poor students who need you. And if Marikaw-sensei stays then the rest of you will too. We need...aacck..'' Shido cried out as his wrist was broken. Once more everyone witnessed when it came to survival that the blond was in a class to his own. Shido pitiful fell to the ground holding his wrist.

''You will not lay a finger on that woman. I know your kind of people you worm! A parasite that feeds on others and is willing to kill anything to satisfy itself. The only reason why I haven't killed you is that it would be too good for someone like you. The thought of the undead feasting on your still living and breathing form is so much more amusing.'' Naruto said as he turned his back on the man. He didn't even bother to react when Shido stood up and pulled a razor out of his pocket. Just when the man was about to attack a bullet grazed his cheek.

'''H-Hirano-kun?'' he cried out in confusion, trying to play the victim.

''You were lucky. That wasn't an intentional miss. F-For you to be with such heartless students...HOW MANY PEOPLE DO YOU THINK BEAT ME UP AT SCHOOL?'' He demanded in outrage. ''Most of them are right next yo you! Don't even try tell me I deserved! I've restrained myself! I've always held it in! I wanted to have a normal life, so I've always held it in! But normality doesn't exist anymore! Normality is now a dead concept!'' he finished with a crazed grin.

''I'll guard the rear.'' Saeko stated readying her blade. ''You've become a real man, Hirano-kun.''

With that the group of five got off the bus taking the weapons and provisions with them. ''What should we do? I don't know the area very well.''

''We should make sure the Onibetsu bridge is even cross-able.'' Saya suggested.

''Wait a minute...'' Naruto paused sniffing the air. ''I think I know that scent. Follow me...'' he said taking off. The others momentarily startled followed after the blond.

''Wait a minute...is that?''

''It is!''

''Sensei!'' Rei cried cheerfully as she snagged Shizuka into a hug.

''Goodness, Miyamoto-san., and Komuro-kun, too!''

Once everyone got reacquainted they began deciding what they needed to do. Because of he construction the bridge couldn't be crossed.

''Night will be setting in soon. If it gets dark we won't be able to see them! Not to mention the rest of those monsters Naruto-san told us about! We need a safe place to rest for the night!'' Shizuka informed them holding up her watch.

''Where can we go that could house all of us?'' Saeko wondered.

''Damn, I don't know this area too well myself so I don't have any ideas, sorry,'' Naruto admitted with a shrug.

''Ara, I know of a place. We can walk from here.''

''Is this a boyfriend's place?'' Saya wondered aloud with a smirk.

The question caused Shizuka to flustered as she explained. ''It's one of my girlfriend's places. She's always busy working at the airport so she gave me a key to watch over the place. It's a Mezonet apartment so it's right on the river and there's a convenience store close by too. ''

''Good, we can keep a look out for the zombies then. Anything else of use?'' Naruto asked.

Flapping her arms up and down like a hyper child Shizuka remembered something. ''Oh, after we're done there, she has a car we can take. It looks like a tank and has four doors.''

''We'll have to find a way to get it on the street,'' Saeko added.

Running her left arm through her hair Saya let out a yawn. ''I'm so worn out after today. I really just want to go to a place with working electricity and just take a shower.''

''Well what are we waiting for. Let's get moving!'' Naruto exclaimed as they made there way over to the house.

While Hirano was close to nerdgasming over the Humvee Saya wondered, 'what the hell kind of 'girlfriend' Shizuka had apparently. The place looked secured enough thanks to the fence, at least against the normal zombies Naruto nodded as there were still the Lickers and fliers to worry about. Of course spontaneously some undead had appeared.

''Looks like were going to have to clean house. Most kills gets to be the first to use the restroom. Ready...'' Naruto shot ahead without a signal to the protest of Saya. With weapons in hand they proceeded to clean house. Naruto and Saeko took to clearing out the ones by the gate while Rei, Takashi, and Hirano blasted and tore through the ones inside.

From that point on fighting to escape was no longer an option. From now on they would be fighting just to survive. Any second guessing could lead to death. As they day ended the plague was just beginning as new creature's even beyond Naruto's experience would soon roam the earth as this world's mankind would be pushed to the limits or perish.
