Gerard's P.O.V.
The light coming through Violet's bedroom window woke me up. I smiled at the memory of last night. Everything was finally together. We were finally together. I sighed and rolled over expecting to find my one and only beside me. Instead, I found no one. Only a single note was on her pillow.
Dear Gerard,
Last night, I don't even think words could describe it. The love that I felt was wonderful but, it was also an eye opener for me. I am not the one for you, maybe someday we will cross paths again but, for now we need to move on. I cannot love you unless I love myself first. It's gonna be hard at first but, I need to get my life together. Don't try to look for me, not right now. No one knows where I am, not even Aunt Linda. Just do what you do best. I hope you have a great tour. I love you, Gerard.

The note slipped through my fingers and onto the floor. Where did all this come from? Why now of all times? We finally get the chance to start our life and she leaves with out telling me so much as to where she is going.
I can only hope she is okay out there alone.
And that someday we will meet again.
