It's a state of mind.
(#) AdnarimSmada 2012-08-17Nice. I can relate to that. The fact that we put ourselves into our work but nobody really sees it, the constant inferiority complex, you know, all of that.
I think any writer understands what you're saying there.
Author's responseYeah, I just got this feeling like he's always writing about his own vices, like "I said my clock's early 'cause I know I'm alway late" and "I'm a leading man and the lies I weave are oh so intricate" and it feels like he's always beating himself down. I just know that behavior and the reason all too well to not acknowledge it.
And thank you :)
(#) scarlett_fitch2027 2012-11-04Just read this on AdnarimSmada's poetry challenge and I wanted to tell you what I thought of it. Oddly I felt really emotional afterwards (well not really oddly because if you know me you'll know that I cry at Pedigree adverts) but it was so relateable and beautiful, especially that very last stanza. Lovely work.
Author's responseThank you so much :)
