Who are you?
A soul conjoined with skin and bone,
Someone caged, and all alone.
What are you?
A Heavenly angel, a demonic Hell,
You're just so complex; it's difficult to tell.
When will I see you?
A day, a week, a month, a year,
I need you close, to face my fears.
Where are you?
In your Heaven, in my head,
Taking some time, as others have said.
Why did you go?
To heal, to torture, to run, to feel,
Or maybe just so life seems real.
How are you now?
Feeling the agony and the pain,
Caused by yourself, again and again.
A soul conjoined with skin and bone,
Someone caged, and all alone.
What are you?
A Heavenly angel, a demonic Hell,
You're just so complex; it's difficult to tell.
When will I see you?
A day, a week, a month, a year,
I need you close, to face my fears.
Where are you?
In your Heaven, in my head,
Taking some time, as others have said.
Why did you go?
To heal, to torture, to run, to feel,
Or maybe just so life seems real.
How are you now?
Feeling the agony and the pain,
Caused by yourself, again and again.
