Frank's POV
The afternoon dragged on by, but as soon as the bell sounded for the end of the day, I was more eager to get out of the hell hole I called school, away from the homophobes, so I could go home, accompanied by Gee, Mikey and Holly. It didn't take long for Mikey and Holly to appear but both appeared a little flustered
"What's up?" Gee asked his brother
"Shayne nearly collared us again, except a teacher called him back into class, so we made a break for it quickly," Holly said. Shayne never gave up, he really didn't. A group of cheerleaders, with Maddie being in the middle walked past and stared. I looked away
"I swear, if that bitch comes over here, she'll have no voice box left and her hair will no longer be attached to her head," Holly snapped. I looked to Mikey
'Georgia?' I mouthed at him and he nodded his head. I shook my head. Georgia was incredibly bossy and was pure lesbian and hit on Holly a lot. Even though she is bi, Holly hates it
"Come on, let's get you to mine and feed you skittles and coffee," I said pulling on her arm lightly. The longer she glared at Maddie, the worse it would become. Gee chuckled at what I had said and I soon let go of her arm and she walked quietly with Mikey
"How was your afternoon then Mikey," Gee said breaking the silence. I felt excited and nervous to the fact that Gee was coming back to mine. I phased out of his brothers conversation and began to think what we could do when we got back to mine. I knew I was going to play Pansy for Gee to hear. I know mum would ask him and Mikey questions when she did get home from work. I looked at Gee to see his eyes looking at me. I smiled and he smiled back. God I did love his smile. I did think I was falling in love with him
"Frank?" I turned round to look at Holly
"Would it be ok if I murder Georgia?"
"Only if you murder the homophobes," Gee cut in
"Ok, I'll plant a bomb in the school then." I chuckled at her before pulling her into a one arm hug
"Oh Holly, just put Georgia in her place, you can do it to the cheerleaders-"
"Most of the time."
"Yeah but you can do it, I know you can, now come on, I'm gonna give you a load of sugar so you were like how you were this morning," I said walking up the garden path. I opened the front door and closed it behind Mikey as he was the last to walk in. Bags and shoes were dumped by the front door and we all went into the living room and sat down on the floor
Holly's POV
Frank always knew how to cheer me up. I sat down next to Mikey and he smiled at me. I smiled back. Bless he seemed like such a little nerd the way he looked; it really was adorable . . . . . did I really just think that? Frank stood back up again
"What do people want?"
"Coffee," Mikey and Gerard said in unison. I giggled as the three of them laughed
"Fancy giving me a hand Holly?" I nodded my head and then caught him give Gerard a look. I followed him into the kitchen and watched as he pulled out four cups and placed them down, while I filled the kettle. I was so used to his kitchen with the number of times I had been to his home
"Holly." I turned round to find Frank staring right at me. This could only mean he was about to ask something
"Yes," I said eyeing him up
"Can I ask you something?" He moved a little closer and looked over his shoulder. I raised an eyebrow
"Go ahead." He looked back round
"Do you like Mikey by any chance?" Yeah I liked Mikey as a friend
"As a friend, yeah."
"Well, I mean the other way, more than like." Well I had said he looked adorable in my head but not said it out aloud. Mikey was cute, with his glasses and his pretty eyes. He had a funny laugh too, which made me laugh. He was younger than me though, but taller than me, which was annoying. But he was kind, and cute
"Holly," Frank said waving a hand in front of my face
"Uh . . . . ." Frank raised his eyebrows before a smile came across his face
"You like him."
"So what if I do! You like Gerard anyway." I froze as I spoke the words and stared over Frank's shoulder at the figure now standing in the doorway. Frank slowly turned round to look.
Frank's POV
Gerard stood in the doorway
"Um," was all I was about to say
"You guys alright, you look like you've seen ghosts," Gee chuckled. Me and Holly looked at one another. I began to wonder how long he'd been standing there and how much of our conversation he had heard. Holly turned to face the kettle as it boiled
"I thought I'd give you a hand carrying food through," he said walking over
"Thanks." I turned to face Holly. She seemed to be biting her lip, trying not to laugh as she stirred each cup. I helped Gee pull out some food, while Holly managed to carry all four coffee cups back through to the living room. I looked at Gee and he looked round at me as we stood up with our arms full of junk food. He leaned closer to my face. Holy shit. If my heart beat any faster, it would actually explode out of my chest
"I like you too," he whispered into my ear before smiling and walking back to the living room. I slowly followed back into the living room, where Holly was now sat laughing with Mikey. She stared at me and looked away before she could laugh at me again. I sat back down again, next to Gee
Gerard's POV
Frank seemed quiet as he sat down. Maybe telling him that I did like him had startled him a bit. Maybe it was a little too fast, but it was the honest truth. I could have told him a lot more, but held it back
"Have you asked Frank yet?" Frank's head looked at me and I became confused and looked at my brother blankly. He laughed at me and so did Holly
"Ask him what?" I must have sounded really stupid as Holly laughed even more and so did my brother
"About Saturday." Face palm. I had forgotten about it
"Oh yeah, um, Frank me and Mikey were wondering whether you wanted to meet up at the weekend with me and Mikey and two of Mikey's friends, Ray and Bob, they're ever so nice." He smiled. That gorgeous smile
"Sure," he said smiling still. I grinned at him before looking at Mikey
"Holly is coming too, we're meeting at our house, and then possibly going out to the park or something, I'm not sure, said I would call Bob later." I nodded my head. I reached forward for my cup of coffee and brushed Frank's hand and felt a shock through my hand. Frank's cheeks went a little pink as I sat back down/ he chucked a couple of packets of skittles and cookies at Mikey and Holly before sitting back. I laughed as Holly dived across Mikey after the skittles that were next to him. She sat up clutching the bag and smiled
"That's better, seeing you smile now," Frank said smiling at Holly before dropping a packet of skittles in my lap. I looked round and nodded a thanks at him before opening them up
"I have skittles, that's why," and she began to giggle. It was funny how her mood changed quickly. Mind you she was female and female minds and moods changed quickly at times, which was kind of weird. Probably another reason why I didn't want to date girls and preferred guys. I looked round at Frank who looked away as I did and I smiled before taking another sip of my coffee before opening the packet of skittles
Frank's POV
We had been sat on the living room floor for what seemed like forever, laughing, eating skittles and me having running up the stairs and almost tripping as I reached the bottom, play Pansy to Gee, Mikey and Holly. I never knew Mikey played and liked Mikey even more as a friend when he said that we could maybe play together on Saturday. I was more surprised to find that Gee could sing beautifully and that Mikey's two other friends that I hadn't even met yet also played musical instruments. I looked at the clock and saw that it was nearly six o'clock meaning mum would be home within the next five minutes. Mikey was sat with Pansy strumming a few notes. I hardly ever let anyone else touch my guitar; not even Holly. Sad I know but seeing the way Holly dives on me and what she's like when she's hyper, I'd rather have my guitar in one piece. Holly was sat watching Mikey's fingers move across the strings; a bit like how a cat will watch a spider crawl around before attacking it with its paws. She let out a little giggle every now and then, to which Mikey would pause and look at her, smile and continue playing. Every time this happened I would look at Gee to see his reaction. He had a smirk on his face each time and bit his bottom lip to stop himself from laughing.
I picked up the cups off the table and some of the rubbish and stood up. I would go back and pick the rest up in a minute. I walked into the kitchen and dumped the cups on the side and walked to the bin. I turned around
"Whoa!" Gee stood right in front of me baring the rest of the rubbish. I took it from him, my fingers touching his. My fingers tingled as I turned and dropped the rubbish in the bin. I turned back round to have Gee's eyes capture my gaze
"Um, what I said, earlier, about liking you too, sorry if it seemed a little too much," Gee spoke. He broke the gaze between the two of us. I raised my eyebrows
"It wasn't." He looked back round
"I guess I just wasn't expecting you to hear me and Holly." He smiled and blushed a little. It was cute when he blushed. I just loved everything about him
"Holly is right, that I do like you." He smiled even more
"And I wasn't lying either." I don't know why but it felt like we had moved a little closer
Gerard's POV
I swear we just moved closer together, but in a way I didn't care whether we had or not. Right now I wanted to pull him into a hug; even kiss his lips if I could get away with it, but part of me was saying that was a step too far
"You have an amazing singing voice Gee," he said suddenly. I blushed again. And he laughed a little
"You're awesome on the guitar. I tried to learn but failed."
"Your voice makes up for it though," he said smiling. His eyes fixed onto mine. How could someone want to beat Frankie up? I mean, I know he is a freak, but freaks are more fun. I'm a freak and my brother is a freaky nerd. Sure Frankie may also cut, but he has one true friend, Holly to help him. And now he had me and Mikey. I loved him. I was glad that I was with him for all my lessons and that I were now friends with him. I wanted the friendship to be so much more. Fuck it. I'll make it look like I'm pulling him into a hug. I'll ignore my mind and follow my heart. Just a gentle touch of his lips that is all I want.
I inched in; closer and closer. He didn't seem to recline or anything, which I took as a good sign. The smile still played on his mouth. I could smell the sense of coffee and his own scent. There must have been at least two centimetres between us. Frankie began to close the gap, but both of us froze as the familiar sound of giggling. Frankie raised his eyebrows and I turned round to see Holly poking her head round the door
"Frankie, your mum's home." She looked between the two of us before giggling and disappearing
"She knows how to ruin a moment," Frank muttered. I laughed. He smiled. I pulled him into a hug and hugged him tightly and didn't want to let go as he hugged back. I reluctantly let go and followed him back into the living room, to see his mum sat on the sofa. Holly was chatting away to her but stopped as Frank went and hugged his mum. Mikey was still sat holding Frankie's guitar and smiling. He was quiet around new people, especially adults I went and sat down next to him
"You must be Gerard." She spoke with a calm and polite manner and had a smile very similar to Frankie's. I smiled back
"I am, and it's nice to meet you." She smiled again
"Well you're always welcome to come round and see Frank whenever you want, Holly has more unless made this her second home." Holly smiled and blushed a little as she spoke. After a few minutes of Frank's mother speaking she stood up to go and get started on dinner. Me and Mikey had to go home, but it looked like Holly was staying as she followed Frankie's mum into the kitchen
"See you tomorrow Frank," Mikey said smiling
"See ya Mikes." Mikey walked out down his garden path and out the gate and walked ahead of me. I turned to face Frankie
"See you tomorrow Gee," he said smiling. I smiled back at him. My stomach did a three-sixty flip as I hugged him for the second time
"Bye Frankie." I walked out and down the garden path and turned to wave him goodbye before catching up with Mikey. I wished that Saturday would hurry up and get here. God; this week really was going to drag on by.

I have now decided that I am going to post a chapter a day, as long as I'm not bouncing off the walls from the caffeine in the sinus tablets I am taking >.< or crashed out on the sofa after work.
