Me and Steven were stuffing our faces with pancakes and bacon at the Denny's we finally found about 45 minutes away from the apartment. "Man you're taking DOWN that bacon," Steven said as he watched me eat "I have a high metabolism, it's nearly impossible for me to be overweight," I explained "Huh. So you can't gain any weight?" Steven asked, a little confused "No, I can, but I'd have to be seriously eating a lot," I said, Steven nodded "Oh. Okay. So, where do you want to go after this? Mall? Tattoo place? Club?" I looked at Steven "11 in the morning and you're already thinking about clubs?" he laughed "I was just suggesting something, thank you very much!". I laughed too and thought for a moment "Let's go to the piercing shop, I wanna get my nose pierced," I announced, Steven smiled "That's my girl!" he said as he stood up "Wait, I have to pay for the food," I said "No you don't," he said "You're gonna?" I asked "Noooo..." Steven said mischievously. I realized what he meant "What? Are you serious?" I whispered, he nodded "But I've never stolen anything in my life!" I said in a whisper "They GAVE it to us, its not stealing," Steven said. I looked around for a second and then back at Steven "Okay," I said, and Steven smiled and we both started walking towards the door. But the truth was...I left the money on the table when Steven turned around....I just couldn't bring myself to walk out without paying. We both jumped into the car and plugged ourselves up, but Steven didn't start the car "What's up?" I asked. Steven looked over at me suspiciously "You put the money on the table, didn't you?" he asked. I sighed "Yeah,". Steven smiled and patted me "It's okay," and then we drove off.
- 2 Hours Later -
Me and Steven were back at the apartment, me with my freshly pierced nose and bellybutton. I slid the key in the doorknob and opened the apartment door "SURPRISE!!!!!!" I heard, followed by a bright flash. I was shocked, everyone was in my apartment, the whole place looked like it'd been decorated and cleaned, and there was a big cake on the table. "Oh my gosh guys! Oh my god! Ohhhh!!" I said, nearly crying "You did all this for me?!" I exclaimed, "Yep," Axl said as he walked over to me and gave me a hug, then someone dumped a bucket of glitter over me, it was Steven "You knew?" I asked "Of course, that's why I took you out this morning!" Steven laughed "Oh my gosh! Of course! Ohhh thank you guys, you're like the best friends I've ever had!" I squealed happily. "Speaking of friends...you said you wanted a friend who was a chick...so I got you some strippers to choose from!!" Izzy announced, then he pointed to the hallway and 3 girls ran out, a blonde, a brunette, and a really blonde blonde. Two of them were dressed a little more normal, but the other one was in full stripper outfit. "Oh wow Izzy thanks, I get to choose," I said, kind of nervous "Thank Axl, he suggested it," Izzy said "Well thanks then Axl," I chuckled "Yep," he said as he eyed the stripper in the least clothes. I rolled my eyes and looked over at Gina, who was running up to me "Look I got a picture of you getting glitter dumped on you!" she said as she showed it to me, it was a good picture because she caught my surprised face and Steven and Axl smiling widely. "Is it stripper glitter or something?" I said as I brushed some of it off my face "Yeah..." Gina said as she rolled her eyes, I laughed and was about to say something else when two of the strippers came over to me, the blonde and the brunette "Heyyy!! You must be the birthday girrrrrlll!!" the blonde said as she hugged me lightly, the brunette was the one in the least clothing and she came over and hugged me too, but when she broke away she kept an arm around my waist "Oh um...okay..." I said, not knowing what to say "I'm Jani, spelled J-A-N-I," the blonde said, "I'm Iz," I said. "I'm Megan," the brunette said as she looked at me "Uh okay...could you let go of my waist please?" I asked as I pulled her hand off "Oh sure, happy birthday though," she said as she blew me a kiss and walked off. I was a little disturbed and it must've shown because Jani patted me on the shoulder "Careful about Megan...she's, well, a class A slut," she said, I looked at Jani, surprised "Why do you think she showed up dressed like that?" she said "Because you're strippers?" I said "I'm actually not a stripper, neither is the other blonde...I mean, we were, but not anymore," Jani explained "Oh...well, sorry my friend introduced all of you as strippers," I said apologetically "Oh that's okay. I know Izzy's girlfriend Abbey. That's how he got me and my sister to come," Jani said "Oh, the other blonde is your sister?" I asked "Yeah, her name is Vivian, but people call her Viv," Jani explained "Oh cool," I said, then I heard a camera click and a flash and saw Axl standing there with the camera "Hey Axl," I said, waving, he took another picture of the both of us then walked over "So, when do you wanna do the cake thing? Before or after the presents?" he asked me "Oh there's presents?" I asked, surprised. Axl scoffed "Yeah, of course," I smiled "Um, we can do the presents first," I said, Axl nodded "Okay, me and Izzy'll set them up," he said and then he walked off. "Let's go see Viv," Jani said once he was gone, pulling on my arm "Okay," I said, we walked over to her and Jani tapped her on the shoulder "Hey! Oh you're the birthday girl right!" Viv said when she saw me "Yeah, I'm Iz," I said "Cool, nice to meet you," Viv said as she shook my hand lightly. Me and Viv talked for a second before Steven yelled "Present time!!" I giggled and ran into the kitchen where the presents were set on the table, that were all wrapped in newspaper, which was actually really cute. "Ohhh!" I squealed excitedly, Axl took a picture of me as Steven handed me one of the presents "This one's from me," he said "Oh cool," I said, I peeled the newspaper off and there was a box that looked like a jewelry box, I opened it and there was something that looked like a chain with two pierces on either end "It's one of those nose/ear rings! One end goes on your ear and the other on your nose," Steven explained "Oh cool! Oh yeah, I remember these! These are awesome! Ohh thank you Steven!" I said excitedly as I hugged him "Yeah I got it at the pierce place when you weren't looking," Steven said "Oh cool, I'm gonna put it in after I open the rest of these," I said "Okay," he said, nodding. Izzy stuffed another gift into my hands "From me," he said, I smiled and opened it, and there were 3 band shirts in there "Oh wow," I said as I picked the first one up "AC/DC," I said as I looked at it "Pink Floyd..." I said as I picked up the next one "Aaand...Bon Jovi!" I said, unfolding the last one "Oh thanks Izzy, they're awesome!" I said, giving him a hug "Your welcome," he said. Gina handed me the next one, which was a big rectangle shaped "This one's from me," she said "Okay, let's see what we have here," I said as I unwrapped it, I opened it and smiled "What is it?" Axl asked as everyone crowded around "It's a collage of pictures!" I said happily, there were pictures on there of me and Axl from like, when Axl first started dating Gina, all the way up to just today when we were all on the bed "Oh Gina! Did you make all this yourself?" I asked, still in awe "Yep, I was going through the closet and found all these pictures, so I figured I'd put it all together," she answered, I hugged her "Oh thanks Gina! I love this, I'm gonna hang it up in my room and stuff!" "Your welcome," Gina said. "Uhh, I guess it's time for mine," Axl chuckled, kind of nervously, he pulled something out of his back pocket and handed it to me. I unwrapped it and it was another jewelry box, I opened it and there were two chains that each had a half of a heart on them, "Oh Axl..." I said as I examined it, it looked expensive "Uh yeah, they go together, and they're for two people to wear..." Axl explained "Oh wow," I said as I picked one up and examined it, I noticed it had something engraved on it, and it looked like only part of the words "Put them together," Axl said, I connected the two and it read 'No more tears'. I felt like I was gonna cry "You're gonna wear the other half of this?" I asked Axl, he nodded and I hugged him "I love it Axl, it's beautiful, it must've cost a lot though...are you sure it's not too much?" I asked "Well, those times I wasn't paying the rent...I was saving for this," Axl said "Oh thanks," I said as I put one half over my head and Axl put his half on. "Why don't you put 'em together and we'll take a picture of you two?" Steven suggested "Okay," I said, me and Axl joined them together and Steven took a picture "Awww," everyone said at the same time, I blushed and I think Axl was too...or it might've been the blush he was wearing, but either way, this was the most meaningful present he'd given me. "The strippers got you a present too!" Izzy announced "Oh?" I said as I looked over at them "Yeah...here it is," Jani said as she handed me a box, I took the lid off and gasped "Oh wow! Cowboy boots! In snakeskin print!" I said excitedly as I took them out of the box "Someone tipped me off you were a Bon Jovi fan...and that guy, Jon, is always wearing those...so we got you these," Viv said "Ohh thanks!" I said as I hugged all three of them at the same time "I love them! I can't wait to put all this new stuff on!" I said to everyone "Yeah, and you're gonna wanna wear this shirt..." Axl said as he pulled a shirt out of his jacket and held it up, it was a Motley Crüe shirt "...When you go to the...." he continued 'MOTLEY CRUE CONCERT!!!' everyone shouted at the same time, Steven dumped another bucket of glitter on me and Gina pulled a pair of tickets out of her back pocket and waved them around "Oh my god!!!! Aaaaaahhhh! Oh my god Motley Crüe!!!! Aaaahhhh ohhhh!!!! Oh my gosh, holy shit!!!" I said excitedly and freaking out as I just fell to the floor in excitement "Oh god...how did you...I mean...." I tried to say "We ALL pitched in for these," Axl said "Ohhh my gosh! Thank you guys! Oh you're the best friends I've ever had...and...oh my gosh, this is all too much! Oh thank you guys!" I said, standing up but still freaking out. I then proceeded to give everyone a hug "So? Cake?" Axl said "Yeah!" I said "Okay, I'm gonna light the candles," Axl said as he took a lighter out of his pocket and walked to the small table where the cake was, after he lit the candles he started walking over with the cake and everyone started singing 'Happy Birthday'. When they were done singing Axl said "Make a wish," I smiled and leaned down 'I wish for peace with my family and to see them again' I said to myself, and I blew out the candles. Everyone cheered and clapped, and Gina started cutting the cake. "Thanks," I said as she handed the first piece to me, I took a bite of it "Mmm, this is so good," I said "Yeah," Steven said as he stuffed nearly half his slice in his mouth, I laughed a bit and smiled, this was so great. I was surrounded by my best friends, some girls who I could definitely make my friends, my boyfriend, everything was so great and I was so lucky to have them. Then there was a knock on the door "Mmm, that's probably my girlfriend, I invited her," Izzy said as he put his cake down, he went to the door and opened it and Abbey walked in "Hey Abbey!" I said "Hey Iz! Happy birthday!" she said as she handed me a card "Oh thanks," I said as I read it. "Oh yeah, you have a girlfriend," Axl said as he walked up and extended his hand for a shake, Abbey shook his hand "Nice to meet you..." "Axl," "Oh, nice to meet you Axl, I'm Abbey," Axl nodded "Cool," he said. Then there was another knock on the door "Oh...that's probably these other special people I invited," Axl said "Oh?" I asked "Yesss.....it's my final gift actually...." Axl said as he went to the door, I waited for someone to come through the door and when they did I froze. I was shocked... "Mom? Dad?".
