'Alice in Wonderland' is one of my favorite books and I'm celebrating the fact that my writing muse has come back. Also I've gotten rid of someone who made my life a misery. Hah!
This story is always in Lucia's P.O.V unless otherwise stated. Just saying. :D Xoxo

I slammed the door behind me as I left, a little childish I know but how many times had been thrown out now? 4, maybe 5. The sky was overcast, almost completely black. I'd find a couch to sleep on for tonight and then somewhere more permanent when it wasn't so late at night.

Originally I had stayed with my dad but my mom being the "wonderful" woman she is, bullied my dad into signing me over to her. God knows what she wanted me back for, she tells me she hates me often enough. I don't really look like my parents, my skin although pale was not as pale as my mother's alabaster skin. Both my parents had fair hair where as mine was dark copper. I had gray eyes but no one else in my family had. I used to pray that I was adopted but sadly it seems like I'm stuck with my parents.

I took a short cut down an alleyway, big mistake. One minute I'm walking on solid ground, next thing I know I'm falling down a deep dark hole that smells like a sewer. I can see the ground rapidly coming up to meet me, I flip over and scream at the top of my lungs but the hit never comes. I flip over, the sewer smell disappears but I'm still falling. The walls seem to be made of earth and roots dangle out occasionally. Then things start to get even stranger. Book shelves have been built into the walls of this hole, pit, whatever this is. Books included on the shelves, tables with lamps and armchairs seem to float on air. I see no one else as I fall. At this point I am convinced I am dead. What else could explain this? I continue to fall for what seems like hours. I passed a piano playing itself and calling out for requests. I pass a sign which reads 'Erehw on ot Emocelew '. God knows what that was supposed to mean. Eventually my fall begins to slow, I land on a bed, flip over once again only for it to catch me. Where I had landed, I had no idea.
