"Why did I let you drag me into this?" I moaned.
"Cause I'm your best friend Callie and you love me too much," Hayley said as she straightened my hair.
"Is it illegal to kill you if you are basically dragging me to my death," I said.
She then stopped straightening and put the straigteners extremely close to my face.
"Ah! Hayley! Please don't burn my face off!" I said.
She then took the straighteners away from my face.
"Right, I got you this dress," she said picking up a dress bag.
"Dammit, I was going to go in jeans and t-shirt," I said.
Hayley gave me a look as she unzipped the bag.
She then pulled out a strapless dark blue dress that had a black bow tied around the waist.
"Wow, thanks Hayley, a dress I actually like," I said then hugged her.
"I knew you'd like it," she said.
I smiled at her.
"Okay I'll leave you to get changed," she said leaving the room.

5 minutes later...

I stared at the mirror.
There was a girl with straight red hair, dark blue eyes and was wearing my dress.
It looked like me, but somehow it wasn't.
"Cal, can I come in now?" Hayley asked.
"Yeah," I said.
She walked in wearing a green dress.
"Oh my god Callie you look so pretty," she said hugging me.
"So do you," I said hugging her back.
She then stepped back and examined me.
"I knew it the dress brings out your eyes," she said grinning.
"Does it?" I looked in the mirror.
"Oh yeah, it kinda does," I said.
"Mikey won't be able to keep his eyes off of you," she said.
I paused then turned to her.
"What are you talking about?" I asked.
"Oh come on! You obviously like him!" she exclaimed.
I gave her a look.
"So is this the only reason you're dragging me along? So you can set me up with Mikey?" I asked.
"Maybe..." she said.
I crossed my arms disapprovingly.
"Callie, I think he really likes you," she said.
I sighed.
I glanced at the clock.
"We're late," I said slipping on my ballet flats.
If I wear heels I'll be on the floor quicker than you can say 'Callie's gonna kill Hayley'

10 minutes later...

"Ow, I think I'm getting blisters," Hayley said as we approached the schools main door.
"I told you that you shouldn't wear heels," I said.
"I feel small if I don't," she moaned.
I grinned.
We then entered the building and headed to the gym.
"I feel sick," I said.
"It's just your nerves, don't worry I'll stay with you," she said.
I nodded.
We then pushed open the gym door.
The room was packed.
"Is it possible to get claustrophobic in such a big room the is very crowded," I shouted to Hayley above the music.
"Erm, dunno, come on I see the food table!" she said grabbing my hand and dragging me to the food table.
I don't know why but I have never felt more grateful to see food.
I picked up a sausage on a stick and ate it.
I then looked to my right and saw Mikey who was talking to Gerard, Frank, Ray and Bob.
I then saw Gerard point at me and then Mikey looked at me.
I turned away quickly.
I could see in the corner of my eye Gerard pushing Mikey, who was now heading my way.
"See ya Hayles I'm outta here." I said slowly walking away.
"Oh no you don't," she said grabbing my wrist and pulling me back.
"Fuck you Hayley," I mumbled.
"You'll thank me one day, hey Mikey," she said.
I looked next to me and Mikey was standing there.
"Hey Hayley you look great," he said.
He looked at me.
"Hi Callie," He said shyly.
"Hey," I said.
"You look..." he started at he looked at me.
"...you look amazing," he said.
I felt myself blush.
"Thanks Mikey, you don't look too bad in a tux," I said.
"Thanks," he said.
We stood there awkwardly for a second.
"I'll be back in a minute guys," Hayley said walking off.
I gave her a look which meant: 'Don't leave you bitch! I need your help over here!'
I gave Mikey a nervous little smile.
"Hey Mikey! Come on bro! We need to get ready!" Gerard said walking over.
"Okay I'm coming," Mikey said.
"Hey Callie, you look awesome," Gerard said hugging me.
"Thanks Gee," I said.
He smiled at me then winked at me.
"Come on Mikey," Gerard said dragging him off.
My face fell a little.
I sat on a chair and started making my way through a plate of sausages on sticks.
Mikey...
"WHAT'S UP EVERYBODY!"
I looked up and saw Gerard, Frank, Ray, Mikey and Bob on stage.
"WE'RE MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE! AND WE'RE GONNA PLAY SOME SONGS FOR YOU!" he shouted.
I stood up and walked closer to the stage.
Throughout all the songs I felt mentally drawn closer to Mikey.
A few songs later it was the end of the set
"OKAY! THAT'S ALL FROM US! BUT MY BROTHER HAS SOMETHING HE WANTS TO SAY!" Gerard shouted.
Mikey approached the microphone and spoke to the crowd.
"I just wanna say that theres this girl, she's amazing and beautiful and....well I'm in love with her"
Who is he talking about?
"And seeing her tonight has made me realise how much I love her, so I requested a song for her so I can show her how I feel," he said.
He looked at me and smiled.
The DJ then put on 'The Only Exception'
Oh god, thats like my favorite love song.
I then rushed through the crowd and headed to the bathroom.
I lent against the bathroom wall and stared at the floor.
I then felt a slight panic attack coming on.
Oh my god!
Mikey's in love with me!
The door of the bathroom flew open.
Hayley approached me and put her hand on my shoulder.
"He loves me Hayles," I whispered.
She then hugged me.
"I know he does, don't let him down though, he's looking for you he wants to dance with you," she said.
"Really?" I asked.
She nodded.
"Okay, I'm going in," I said.
Hayley smiled and held my hand.
We then walked to the gym.
We looked around the room and couldn't see him anywhere. Until I saw him sitting on the stage looking rather down.
Me and Hayley walked up to him.
"Hey," I said.
Mikey looked up and his face lit up when he saw me.
"Erm, hi Callie, would you like to dance with me?" he asked standing up.
I smiled and nodded.
He grinned and took my hand.
Hayley winked at me as he took me to the middle of the dance floor.
We wrapped our arms around each other and started to slowly sway to the music.
I rested my head on Mikey's chest and he gave a little sigh.
"Callie," he said.
I looked up at him.
"Yeah?" I said.
"Erm, you know that speech I made earlier?" he asked.
"Yeah," I replied.
"It was...well...about you," he said.
I felt myself blush.
"I love you Callie, I want you to know that," he said.
I smiled at him.
"I love you too Mikey," I said.
His face lit up when I said that.
He then slowly lent down me.
I watched as he came closer and closer.
His lips brushed against mine as he looked deep into my eyes.
He then gently kissed me.
I let my eyes close and I kissed him back.
I felt as if we were the only people in the room.
Mikey pulled me closer and I wrapped my arms slightly tighter.
It was my way of saying: Never let me go.
He then slowly pulled away.
We stared at each other for second.
He then lent close to my ear and whispered "I will love you forever,"
And he actually meant it.

10 years later...

Me and Mikey walked towards the door of our house.
Mikey opened the door for me letting me in with the bundle of blankets I was holding.
My new born daughter, OUR daughter.
Mikey closed the door behind me and kissed me gently.
I kissed him back.
"I will never get tired of that," he whispered.
I smiled "Me neither," I whispered back.
He wrapped an arm around me a guided me to the other room.
Gerard, Hayley, Ray and Bob were sitting there.
"Hey guys," I whispered.
Hayley smiled and hugged.
"I told you, you'd thank me one day," she whispered.
I smiled.
She then looked at my daughter.
"Awww, hello there Sierra," she said stroking her face.
"You can hold her if you want," I said.
Hayley nodded and carefully took her out of my arms.
She then sat next to Gerard.
"Aww, my niece is so cute," Gerard said.
Hayley looked at him and smiled.
"Guys, last night Gerard proposed and I said yes," she said.
"Oh my god Hayley!" I exclaimed and hugged her.
She gave a little laugh.
I then hugged Gerard.
"I thought you'd never ask her," I said.
Gerard grinned.
Hayley gave Sierra back to me and started making out with Gerard.
Mikey hugged me and kissed the top of my head.
"I love you," he said.
"I love you too," I replied.
