  I see where you're coming from, but I'm not going to stop putting myself in stories just because you don't like it. I'm on here because it's a site for fan /fiction/ I'm a fan, and I write these stories that I want to come true. No one's forcing you to read them... I do it because I like it. So, yeah...

  Ok, I see you point, as I'm about to be a major asshole (And yes, I have done self-inserts for other people's stories, but I don't even audition anymore). It IS irritating to see so many of the stories with that kind of pairing, but at the same time if people enjoy writing it, let them. Unless its Baycest or something like that. And if you have a problem with what they are doing, talk to them directly. I actually really dislike Frerard, but I just deal with it being there.
  
  What I'm trying to say is, either talk to them or just deal with it. And you know I have nothing against you- I adore you. But posting this kind of shit only cluttered up the page and makes people angry. And I'm sorry if I'm being an asshole.

  I don't think it's meant to annoy anyone. As you said, most of us are probably minors. Kids. We're just having fun, yanno? c:
  I get where you're coming from. It can come off a bit strange, but it's fun! They like writing and reading them, so just let them have fun. That's what we're here to do anyway. :D

  Well to be honest, they really are OC's if they make themselves act differently. I mean the actual person could be nice and not hurt a fly, but in the story they put themselves in it but they're a killer. So if you think about it, they're OC's.

  Personally I've never been able to write myself in a story because I just find it awkward and it's SO much fun to completely create a new character from scratch but... people who write themselves in stories probably write who they want to be, or change things... making it original to an extent.
  It's for them so I don't see the problem. They are sharing, not forcing it.

  I know right? I've done it (one itty bitty ship that everyone ignores, one itty bitty part in a fic is all it's got) But yeah, no offence to them BUT HOLY FUCKING SHIT IT'S MOTHERFUCKING ANNOYInG, and it's rude to the authors who don't do it..cause now-a-days here, if you don't have a super popular band member ship with yourself then wow..your nobody...
  It's stupid and fucked..Sorry but in MY PERSONAL OPINION it's taking fanfic too far

  Sam41, I hate to say this but actually it's how fanfic started out. True story. Doesn't mean it's the only way, though, but considering this I kinda cracked up at the last part of your comment, 'taking fanfic too far'
