“You’re okay,” said the man with a chicken for a head
He’s wrong, cos the chicken watched me while i bled
I bled the colors I tried so hard to keep
My mouth’s been shut, not a sound nor a peep
All the work is gone, a chicken saw and told
Took the prize and fame, didn't know it was fool’s gold
Wanted to be clear, not white on black backgrounds
I wasn't to be seen, not tied with these bounds
The ropes got me, not a chance to escape
Time for thoughts to change and reshape
I guess I’ll go out quiet
The world seems nicer when it’s soundless, it's almost sweet
No one can hear me
That’s a great guarantee
Send me on now, I’m ready
Still keeping my head steady
Mind’s getting very heady
Don’t cry like you’ll miss me
This is definitely the way it’s supposed to be
