  I was almost mugged two years ago.
  I was out with a friend at a festival, and she just left me for this guy. On my way home, some scary dude came out of no where and punched my lights out. There's no telling what would have happened if this one old woman wasn't driving by.
  
  The police said they couldn't do anything because I didn't see what he looked like.

  I was almost robbed a few days ago.
  
  I was on the train and two guys were following me on the train, and they kept looking at me, and were whispering stuff in another language
