Teach me how to feel again,
For I have lost my way,
I do this just to feel the pain,
Does that make me insane?

Am I losing my mind this time?
I only ever sit and cry,
I need to sketch another red line,
My life's a pathetic, muted mime.

I watch my old scars slowly fade,
Others around me seem to change,
But as I am so differently made,
I still find solace in a blade.

I've given life so many tries,
But no one really cares,
I'm sick of all my useless lies,
Yet no one hears my muffled cries.

For a long time now, I've been broken,
A thousand fragments of shattered hope,
I'll keep them all as a token,
Until my final words are spoken.

Tonight this suffering shall come to an end,
The colours around me shall dim then fade,
You gave as much hope as you could send,
But it couldn't force my heart to mend.
