How did it come to this?
It started with a simple kiss,
At first there was nothing amiss,
And they say ignorance is bliss.
You pinned me up against the wall,
How could I have been such a fool?
You covered my mouth so I could not call,
Then made me obey your every rule.
I didn't, though, and I fled,
I saw something shining as I turned my head,
And then the pain and then the red,
The the sudden fear that I'd end up dead.
I fell for all your tricks and lies,
It is only you I truly despise,
No one will ever hear my cries,
And you then you tell me someone dies.
I see it there in your hand again,
You're still so proud of your reign,
And you think I'm insane
And that I am the one to blame.
The room we now stand in is dimly lit,
Quivering now, I have lost all wit,
Use it, go on, because I quit,
And finally you stab me with it.
Now bloody footprints lead out the door,
You're making sure that no one saw,
The knife is wedged into my core,
And now I sleep forevermore.
