Lately, I’ve been wondering,
Could I cut myself away from the world?
Snip myself away, piece by piece,
Until there’s nothing left at all.

Lately, I’ve been wondering,
Could I carve a smile into my face?
Piece my face, draw my features,
So I’ll never seem sad at all.

Lately, I’ve been wondering,
Could I erase the thoughts that plague me?
My mind in my hand, unable to think,
So I am never affected at all.

Lately, I’ve been wondering,
Could I snip them all away?
The haters, bullies, disappeared into dust,
As if they’d never existed at all.

Lately, I’ve been wondering,
Could I draw my own world?
Sketched perfection, blank faces,
No one would feel at all.

Today, I took out my blade,
I slashed wildly, I was unafraid,
I cut open my cheeks,
A smile that scares the weak,
I dragged out my brain,
So that I could not feel the pain,
I destroyed those that hurt me,
I killed them, they couldn’t flee,
I created my own world for you,
