The 3 boys pounded on the locked door near frantically. "Ryan!" Brendon yelled, a tinge of desperation in his voice.
"Open up! Please!" Jon pleaded.
They couldn't imagine what Ryan would do if they didn't get in.
"Go away." The guitarist's voice issued through the door.
"No!" Spencer spat fiercely. He wasn;t going to sit by and watch his best friend of the past decade of so self-destruct. Not like this. Not without at least trying to prevent the inevitable.
"I mean it Spencer! Go the fuck away!"
"Ryan! Please! We're not pissed, we're worried!" Brendon whined.
"Worried my ass."
"Ryan! Come on, we just overreacted a little!" Jon reasoned.
"Yeah, you fuckin' overreacted, whoop de fuckin doo!" Ryan replied bitterly.
"Jesus, I'm sorry, okay?" Spencer apologized, it coming out more like a question than the statement he intended it to be.
"And my middle name is stupid." Ryan retorted, anger in his voice.
"You're not stupid, Ry, I meant I'm sorry."
There was silence for quite a while.
"We need to bust this door down."
"Open up! Please!" Jon pleaded.
