Sitting in silence, watching people come and go.
It wasn't anything special, she would sit there, alone lost in her thoughts as people walked by; some laughing, some talking, and some just trying to get by.

Not today, not yesterday, and probably not tomorrow.
For everyone who passed by, had tear stained faces, fighting back sobs, shaking as they walked. She knew why, and it hadn't phased her yet, she felt no sorrow, no pain, she was content.

An odd feeling, for the circumstances, but content seemed to describe how she felt; although she lost 4 heroes, lost an inspiration, lost a band who indeed helped her through life.
They where now gone, and she felt nothing, nothing at all.

"I-I can't believe it; they promised, they promised never to leave! Never to leave us without a good reason." A girl sobbed to herself, causing the girl to feel a tinge of guilt; she despised watching people in pain, watching tears roll down red cheeks, sobs wracking shoulders, pain taking over their thoughts.

"Hey, you alright?" She whispered, walking over to the girl, falling in step with her.

"I gu-guess. It's just hard you know?" The small girl sobbed, trying to calm herself down.

"Yeah, I know. It's like losing a family member huh?"

"Exactly, it hurts so much and I don't know why." The pained girl whispered, trying to sort her thoughts, as they where currently more tangled than a pair of headphones.

"It hurts so bad, because they've been there for you, stayed when everyone else didn't give a fuck, they probably got you through a lot. I don't know your story, but they might have saved your life." The girl mumbled, trying to add some explanation for the amount of pain everyone was feeling.

"That's so true, long story short, they saved my life in so many different ways; and I can't believe their gone." More tears rolled off the girl's face as the taller out of the two pulled her into a hug.

"Stop crying, wipe away the tears. Do you think they would want you to be crying? Want you to be suffering through this much pain because of them? It's against all that they stood for, all that they sang about, all that they taught you."

"I'm trying, but it hurts so much." The girl wiped tears from her face, looking up at the taller girl's face. "I'm sorry, I don't even know you, and I'm spilling my guts out."

"It's fine, and nice to meet you, I'm Kacey."

"Maddi."

The two walked in silence, as what used to be the park, bubbling with life; suddenly became dark.
Tree's turning to piles of debris, everything falling into a cover of grey, silence filling the air.

"What?" Maddi whispered, watching as their world suddenly changed; changing to the Black Parade.

"One last show."

"One last time."

A crowd began to grow, as everyone wondered what was happening.

Various faces looked to the sky, most expressions filled with pain, sorrow, anger.
Silence took over, as nobody made a sound, nobody moved; all just standing, thinking.

This silence lasted for a good 2 minutes, before a voice broke the silence.

Now I know
That I can't make you stay
But where's your heart?
But where's your heart?
But where's your...

A girl sang, hands shaking as all faces turned to her, some singing along.

And I know
There's nothing I can say
To change that part
To change that part
To change...

Now majority of the crowd was singing, a tribute to the heroes who had changed their lives in many different ways.
Smiles plastered against faces as memories flowed in, stories became remembered, pain faded away.

So many
Bright lights, they cast a shadow
But can I speak?
Well is it hard understanding
I'm incomplete
A life that's so demanding
I get so weak
A love that's so demanding
I can't speak

This point, everyone was singing, dedication outweighing shyness.

I am not afraid to keep on living
I am not afraid to walk this world alone
Honey if you stay, I'll be forgiven
Nothing you can say can stop me going home

Can you see
My eyes are shining bright
'Cause I'm out here
On the other side
Of a jet black hotel mirror
And I'm so weak
Is it hard understanding
I'm incomplete
A love that's so demanding
I get weak

Once the song ended, the crowd stood in silence, pain faded, pride showing.

"We'll carry on."

Yeah, I felt like writing an MCR thingy, mcthing.
*Because it's true, we'll carry on.
