Knijee a regular girl from a regular town has a trait you couldn't tell just by looking at her. Is it her chocolate skin? No. Her dark brown eyes? No. Her friendly smile? Nope. Knijee's secret is she really likes K-pop, and that she secretly inside would like to be a Korean pop star. She could just imagine performing solo or even in a group with thousands of adoring fans screaming to their hearts content. Screaming her name until their throats were raw. She often dreamed about meeting hot guys in Korea. She wouldn't tell anyone about that especially.
One day Knijee was on youtube listening to Gangnam Style when she came along SM Entertainment's website. She scrolled down the page and noticed many boy-bands that she admired. While scanning over the words and listening to Haru Haru, one word caught her eye. AUDITION. Knijee's eyes did a quick double take on the sentence. She read it aloud to herself, "Ever wondered what it was like being a Korean Pop STAR!! Well come on by to SM Entertainment's audition hall and audition and you might just get the chance!" Knijee felt a crazy feeling coming on. Despite some wariness, Knijee clicked on the link and started typing in information into the online application. Knijee suddenly hesitated. She knew she had a nice voice, but she had doubts about actually making it. She wondered, "Will I go in there and totally wow the judges or am I just going to embarrass myself? Deciding to go ahead with her initial thought, Knijee finished filling out the application and submitted it.
On the opposite side Han Geng was also getting ready to submit his application. His dark brown eyes focused on every minute detail on the screen seemed even more almond-shaped than ever. His skin slightly pale from being studious and slightly sun-deprived. His tall and slim frame hunched over as he sat uncomfortably.
Han Geng actually didn't think he had any chance of getting in. His mom pushed him into doing this. She was a small and petite woman who never took no for an answer. She said in a nagging tone, "You need to believe in yourself more. You should hear yourself in the shower, you sound like an angel." So, just to humor his mother, Han Geng decided to make a fool out of himself and try out. He only hoped that the judges ears wouldn't bleed too much.
