They'll spit on your dreams and throw them away,
Watch as your happiness fades into grey.
"Your dreams are nothing," they say,
"You'll never be anything, youo were born to fail."
Do you remember your dreams?
What did you dream about at night?
When you were a kid, and thought nothing but sweetness and delight.
Now there are ghost in the walls,
Demons down the hall,
You're your own nightmare,
The most fearful of them all.
One of the beasts, the villians, the monsters
Get ready to fight,
Wake up and but don't go towards the light,
You'll have the time of your life,
In a little place we call Earth.
Your our little devil,
But your the nicest of them all.
The one with the dreams and the thoughts,
Help us when we begin to fall.
They don't accept you,
Your different from the rest,
Tattoos that litter your skin,
Piercings that jut out of your lip.
Your tired of the names you called,
Sick of the way your treated,
They know your stronger, they know it so
But they want to try and break you down.
Some kids need a savior,
I think it could be you.
The one with the voice, the guitar,
And the inspiring songs.
Speak out, put your words into music.
after all music speaks louder than words.
Use your voice, tell the world what lies in your soul.
Win over the crowd and you can take over the world.
Show them your voice,your tune
Make them scream and swoon,
You could be the newest hero, swoop down with your cape.
The old one quit,
Left a note held up on the door with some tape.
They're gonna judge you,
And make fun of you.
Try and make you crack,
Show them that your better than that.
Save the kids,
The teens who hurt.
Ones who could attend your concert,
Meet your fans,
They're proud of you.
Even though you were born from a monster,
You can still rise up to conquer.
Watch as your happiness fades into grey.
"Your dreams are nothing," they say,
"You'll never be anything, youo were born to fail."
