Lies
It'll get better, they say.
The thoughts will die and the urges will fade away.
They won't come back, the scars will go.
You'll be happy, you'll be fine, you'll be okay.
They're all lies, I say.
The thoughts hang round in my head,
The urges never leave me.
They always come back and make me feel weak.
The scars are there to remind me.
