Prologue
Listen to everything I’m about to tell you.
One day, this could help you when this happens to you. It could save your life.
I never gave religion any thought before this happened. I’ve been raised a Christian and had a share of bible stories during my youth. But when I moved out of my parents’ house, I only went to church on special occasions, mainly Easter and Christmas. I thought it was for the best back then. I’m not sure about it now.
Like I said, listen to what I have to say. Listen very carefully.
Everything I’m about to say actually happened to me. It really scared me. Still does.
So I’m going to start at the beginning, hoping it would clear my thoughts and my fears.
