I'm feeling sad.
I want to cry.
I want to laugh.

I can be joyful
But I can cry.
I can be angry
I can be shy.

The pain I feel is great
But I laugh and giggle and smile
And none of it is fake
So, it's all worthwhile.

I have my ups
I have downs
I have my smiles
I have my frowns
What word can explain
The relief
And the pain
Of being happy and sad?

I hate the thoughts
I love the feel
It can't be fought
It can't be healed
What more can I say to explain?

No matter the ups, or the downs
I don't mind
The smiles and frowns
I wouldn't have it
Any other way

I feel a lot
But, hey, I feel
I'm alive
I hurt and heal
I know it's mad
But that's the perk
Of being Happy/Sad

I like being Happy/Sad
I never lose
It's not bad
So why should I choose?

Everyone should feel
Like I do right now
Because it feels real
You can say "Hello"s
Then take your bow.

Gather a pile full of happy sighing
And throw your tears into that pile
Because the moment you start crying
Is when you should smile.

So let's be happy
Forever happy
Completely happy
And a tiny bit
Sad.
