A very pleasant, fast-paced outing in post-Ring War Minas Tirith, as the Old Order Changeth. Through Faramir as the alternately bemused, bothered and delighted observer, we discover glimpses of Aragorn's past and future, and see the King and Steward grow closer as they both prepare for the coming of the Queen.Author's response
Thanks, Raksha, for your review and for telling me about this site!

An excellent vignette! I enjoyed seeing the foundation of the strong ties between Aragorn and Faramir; and reading how Aragorn and company dealth with the stuffiness of the Court. Chuckle......it looks like Morwen and those like her are completely outclassed! Thanks for writing this!Author's response
Glad you enjoyed it! I hope to write a sequel some day. It's a genre I enjoy (comedy of manners).

I would have given you a positive rating. But the stupid rating bar won't allow it.
I loved this. (Especially the little brotherly spat between the three usually dour sons of Elrond.) And the joke about Gollum. XD
And Auntie Morwen is a riot. I love the old biddy! (The part about even Denethor trying to discourage her visiting had me in stitches.)
I am sad Frodo or Merry were never seen, but at least Pippin was there. On other sites, Pippin usually takes a back seat to the other Hobbits. It was nice to see him getting some airtime.
Is this going to be part of a series?
