tongue-tied from your words,
incoherent blurb.
i'm silent.
impossible to find,
impossible to break away.
but now the power lines are down,
the dial down is turned my mouth into a frown.
i miss your voice,
the number seem so hard to press.
your gone and i'm in nothing but distress.
why have we lost touch with each other?
i miss those words that soothed my mechanical mind.
it never shuts off.
replays the memories of yesterday,
and how you weren't there to comfort me.
i just miss the way we used to talk.
even if it was just for a little while,
we wasted those minutes on the clock.
but you always made me smile.
its all gone,
you've given yourself away.
to a new someone.
"breaking news, a young girl was electrocuted by power lines that fell on the road. victim is still unknown."
