Sit down and talk to me
Tell me why we have come to this
Explain your reasoning
and make me understand
Why the only communication
seeps through a half hearted smile
and why the atmosphere
fogs a lanky and awkward state
We don’t have to argue
and no one’s pressuring you
If you know what’s right
You’ll speak up tonight
Take a sip
Relax your mind
Tell me why
Your so shy
Your the best judge
to what’s veracious about
and how this can all
become your definition of “better”
I only want the best
between you and me
So that your heart’s in tack
and your eye’s don’t weep
I’d give all I had to make you smile
My heart would die before yours would crack
and I would take all your pain
If I could, I would before the sun could dawn
I’m so lame
but at least I show compassion
My heart carries a burden
That only you could lift
I didn't mean to upset anyone else
and last thing I wanted to do was hurt you.
I wish I could collect my word’s back.
I only meant to hurt myself.
Tell me why we have come to this
Explain your reasoning
